A better idea might be to state the debate you are in and let these guys say who is right. Even then they still might not.

It totally depends on the competitor. Some pay nothing, some pay a little to cover the costs of the tires, some pay full pop and still run the decals just to pimp something they like.

This is a retarded question. If you don't know and have to ask how much they are, chances are neither of you are eligible to buy them.

If you can't buy a set yourself or from someone you know then the price is whatever the market will bear. Like mentioned too it is also dependent on who you are. I would be willing to bet top shelf racers pay nothing for some of there stock but other guys who aren't established or as competitive pay for the tires at cost or cost + x% from BFG.

Research the prices of what new sets get sold for and somewhere in there you can probably take an educated guess as to what the price is.

Were not talking about how much someone is willing to pay. What BFG charges.
Research the prices?
WTF you think this is all about.

I guess BFG has you guys by the balls if no one is willing to spill the beans.

If you count the event entry fees and fuel to qualify for the comp. program, these tires are pretty damn expensive!!!

BTW...the price is completely irrelevant if you're not a competitor. Buy a used set or be content with sub-par performing tires!!!

I've heard rumors that the competitors who get them are not authorized to release to the general public. If caught, they get thier pee-pee spanked. There was someone in my hometown that was renting a storage unit filled with comp tires. But the person couldn't give em or sell em due to whatever agreement contract they had to sign.

Good luck finding any one that will part with a set.

So he owns a set and you are wanting to know what they are worth?

Whatever he wants to charge you most likely.

Sounds like he has you by the balls.

It is proprietary information. Competitors are asked by the companies that sponsor us/them to not discuss the contract arrangements.

Wrong.
1 he wouldnt part with them
2 Im not interested in them for the fact I need a multipurpose tire to do rocks snow dirt maybe pavement.

Our other discussion, Why is BFG so tight with releasing these to the public.
MT, Maxxis, Interco all do. Must be more about the prestige

Should never be spoken in the same conversation as "reds".

Who the fawk cares if you're not going to be a qualified competitor anyway...you'll either beg someone to get you some, or buy a used set from a qualified competitor...bottom line, if you want to find out....qualify.
