Need beginner help with locker

I possibly buying a 8.5" 10 bolt chevy axle for the locker thats in it. It will be very cheap. I am trying to identify the make/model of the locker. Any help with what kind of locker this is??? I am also having difficulties pulling it from the rear end in which it currently resides. I pulled the pin and slid the axle shafts in, exposing the c-clips. there is a big piece of metal behind the c-clips from the side that I can get to them from. that big piece of metal prohibits acess from the other side. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Im trying to avoid paying a shop to tear it down if I can.

I got the unit out after playing with it a bit. Now I am trying to identify it. It is stamped F19GA with a large 04-6 on it. I was assuming that was maybe a june, 2004 manufacturer date?? Thanks for any help you guys can provide!

It may be! hahaha... I didn't pay for it yet. He told me to take the whole axle home and take it apart to make sure that its something worth using. If its no good, i'll just take it back to his shop and not have to pay for it. Does it look like a gov-loc?

well, that blows! I am glad I asked here before making a moronic mistake! Gov-loc's are not worth having, right? The truck has a 400hp small block. This one is a street truck. I asked here because everyone knows their shit here(which I obviously dont).
