Sure, lots of people. Me included. Bypasses and quality leafsprings (Deaver) can be a pretty awesome combo.

They're pointless without 5+" of uptravel and even then you will need custom placed tubes to make them worth the cost.

the whole point of leaf springs is inexpensive and simple....keep it that way

Wrong. A 2.0 or 2.5 smooth body will make worlds of a difference. Spend the money bypass would cost and pay someone to tune em or buy a no2 tank, shims, oil and learn how they work.

There is some debate about this on the dezert sites. Many people feel a bypass is not needed with 15" of travel or less, coil or leaf. A monotube is always better than a white rocket Offroad.

Anything is better than white bodys. I put 5100 bilstiens on my scout after running KYB's for years,I thought I had died and gone to heaven... NEVER will I run cheap shocks on anything, EVER again.

Bypasses have their place and its only with the best of suspensions. You shouldn't run deavers with ranchos or quad bypasses with stock springs...
