I would think it would be difficult for him to pass a background when proof of theft and mail fraud came back.

I know officers personally that have been let go from places...even other police depts. for stealing and even dealing.

Go to a different county or city and bam, right back to wearing a badge.

Had on officer locally while on duty drive his patrol car into the side of a home...drunk. A few other officers tried to cover up him being drunk. The sheriff called in the TBI to investigate and washed his hands of it. Officer was fired.

Today, in the neighboring county...he's the head detective.

I think for some small towns it's a prerequisit. You don't want to hire some goody two shoes that fucks it up for the rest of the department!

And I thought the Stockton and Oakland cops go away with lots. That would be on the news in Stockton. Oakland the cop would have been robbed and beaten.

I'm not saying its all officers. There are some that do their best but...I've gotten to know quite a few, even on the THP level and they, regardless if they are good or bad, maintain the brotherhood.

So there is a really good reason to why I don't trust police officers.

You're very optimistic. That'll change with age.

I'd pluck a nose hair and work up a tear if the fucker is dead.

Dude, I was such a bigger pessimist when I was younger.

I dunno, my neighbor was a junkie when he was a kid. It's been interesting to hear his story. He has a really nice life now. He said the kick in the ass that he got from life experiences was a big wake up call. He spent 10 year in federal Fuck-You-In-The-Ass prison, though.

There is a reason for this. His former employer by law isnt allowed to tell any of that. My dad was mayor and got in some hot water after he fired our chief of police for some nefarious dealings. A month or two later another dept called wanting him to give a reference. He didnt tell what the cop did he just said they had some problems with him and he wouldnt recommend hiring him. The city got sued, the city atty said by law about all you can say negative is i wouldnt hire him again and thats if asked.

Yep...complete truth.

You cannot divulge why they were fired but only you would not rehire them.

In an alternate universe, picture someone who never opened nor read, any Wenzel drama threads. Please, could someone highlight the bullet points (start to end) of what went down with this dude, here.

Thanks.
