I think that this is one of the most consistently great seasons in a while

Which isn't saying much considering the repetitiveness of the last couple seasons.

Agreed. I know that we are building up to something big with The Saviors so I don't see this trend of awesomeness changing in the last two episodes.

Did anyone else find it interesting that Daryl can't drive an old stick shift Ford? I mean the man can build a motorcycle out of spare parts, but can't operate a non-syncro'd standard transmission?

It wss old Ford, so perhaps the truck had a damn SM465 that kept popping out of second gear?

I said the same damn thing. He's a backwoods country guy and can't even drive that.

Good episode over all. Carol is going to get someone killed.

I did find it odd. I wonder if the writers were just setting up a scene where the Dr. could show that she had some knowledge about something. If that is the case use another character rather than Daryl.

Big things are going to happen in the last two episodes. War is coming to them. I bet at least two main characters die. Any guesses who? I bet Glen and maybe rosita.

I agree. Some action, and some deep stuff, and all around lots to chew on.

Hated to see the doctor take a bolt to the brain... I didn't like the gay angle, but I thought she added a good dynamic to the show. Her comments about going out there with a purpose were pretty awesome...

I thought her comments were confusing and meaningless. It was barley coherent. Maybe I should watch it again. I assumed it was poor writing and they tried to hard to make it a significant moment and failed.

I think she was a weak character who was trying to commit herself to the "real world" around her. What she said wasn't meaningless to the other characters, but I think intentionally weak to us, since we as an audience needed to see her try to develop. Since she took the bolt to the back of the head, the twist ensued, and the intention was to emotionally engage the situation. How many of you wanted to see Darryl and rosita unload on the ambushing group? I know I did....

Cliff notes : She went out there to prove to herself she could be brave like her brother and Ricks group. It was a little wordy but I liked that part.

Then she got kilt.

anyone catch the referral to the train tracks? wonder if daryl felt that way because they led them to terminus, and the tracks led to daryl and seniorita nearly dieing, and fat annoying bitch dead.

that old ford was probably a np435 or t-18, only 1st gear is non synchro, that was annoying to watch, nice clean old ford though

Guess I missed it but when did Rosita become part of the group?

It is probably a beat to shit np435 with bad synchro a so it ground a bit when he shifted. After Denise spoke up, he was doing it on purpose because he didn't like being told what to do.

The DR was horrible acting lol. I cant stand her lines and the way she delivers them. It's like she is reciting Romeo and Juliet in a high school play. Her awkwardness when she tries to not look at the camera. She wasn't being the character, she was just reading lines.

As for the direction the plot is going, I agree, Carol is about to get some key people killed. Her logic that she cant kill anymore is a complete 180 from where she was previously. Pity? Hatred for her actions? who knows, but Morgan is causing people problems.. It's clear that he consistently pushes the "We don't have to kill" mantra and let us all agree, if the world ever became such that law and order did not exist, you better be prepared to either be a wolf or a sheep. If you're the later, you're going to die.

Gear up guys, we're about to lose a very significant character in the next 2 episodes. My gut feeling says it will be Carol. It's time to reduce the headcount by eliminating all of these "new found friends" just as they did with the prison and the farm house. They come in phases, and as one leaves, another comes in.

I think it's going to be Carol and Daryl or Carol and Glenn that end up dead. Or undead.

I hope it Glenn, but I think it's going to be Daryl...and Abraham.

I think daryl will stay for a while. He's the only main character that is not in the books so they can do whatever they want with him

Do you think any of the main characters in the show now make it to the end?

She wasn't talking to you...she was talking to the characters....from their point of view, it made total sense.

None of them deserve it. Not that it's their fault, the writers just make them horrible.

I think your right on with this one. They capture Carol and parade her to the gates of the town to try and get them to open up. And killer her in front of everyone. And Daryl or Glen get caught in the action.

My gut says Glen because then Maggie is grief stricten. And if Carol dies then Daryl will have to be around to go thru it.

I think some of you lack the ability to understand depth in a story and acting

Daryl and Rosita thought they were just dragging her along, when the reality is she CHOSE them for very specific reasons. She had a plan the entire trip, and THEY were just "going through the motions".

I thought it showed a serious set of balls on the doc's part. She KNEW she had deficiencies. She KNEW her weaknesses. Still, she set out with a plan that was 100% past her comfort zone, and aside from a sniper bolt through the eye, she pretty much executed her plan to a T.

Her words were also a wake-up call to the other two to remember they are ALIVE.

Zombie killing is cool and all, but I like some depth to my stories, and stuff like this is where you get some depth.
