Looks like you know what the problem is.

So what are you going to do about it?

It's great how many people are sticking with it and getting results. I hope that your lifestyles are changing. That is key to long term maintenance. I must eat half of what I used to. It is crazy. I drink a bunch of water now. I prefer it at most times.

So, this is what I looked like in Januaryr (on the left). The other pic was taken yesterday.

I'm feeling really discouraged right now... I'm only down 1lb this week.

I've been feeling really good about the choices I'm making and the amount of energy/effort I'm putting into this.
I went from drinking 7 days a week to nothing. I get up at 4am 5 days a week so I can work out before working 12 hour days and getting 5 miles of walking in at work. I meal plan and prep and have an awesome fiance who helps with all that and is very encouraging.

I guess I just have to hit it harder but man... I'm seriously bummed out.

Do you do the same exercises? Maybe change up what you do there? What is your water intake like? Also, don't forget the importance of a good nights rest.

You didn't gain anything, and you must be feeling better. Take the small wins, too. Reward yourself for hanging in there. Do not get discouraged! Keep it up and you will get results.

Ive been doing P90x (again) and have been following an Intermittent Fasting diet plan. Basically I eat one meal a day and fast the remaining 23.5 hrs. Its tough to make a habit, but by now, i dont even notice if im hungry. My one meal a day usually consists of 1400 calories on average. Sometimes more, some less. Ive been focusing on eating better during that one meal rather than eating 12 slices of pizza.

I also like to workout in the evening when im fasting and start to get hungry. By the time im done with the workout and drink some water, im not hungry anymore. Works for me, maybe not for everyone. Being single w/o kids makes it easy to follow this type of diet.

You may need to make your cut less drastic as you get to a lower body fat %.

I didn't weigh this morning and I am not getting near a scale for a few days. I ate like crazy over the weekend...did get some exercise but I am sure I put on a few lbs.

This is my last week at my job...starting my own business! With the new employment situation and better weather I am going to get back to better eating and much more exercise!

312.2 this morning, down from 314.9 last week and a start of 344 1/25/16

I must admit I was worried I was not going to be down any with the food I ate this week between Easter and My kids being here all week, Ate Lasagna, Hamburgers, and so on..

But one thing I did right was I still walked on Average 6 miles a day and did my push ups every other day.

That's great Pat.

I started my chiropractic treatments for my knee. Basically, the treatments are to break up the "gristle" in my muscles that keep them from relaxing. Treatment one went well. I felt pretty damn good after it.

I've been hitting the gym between 4 and 5 times per week. It's feeling pretty good. I deadlifted 355 while going for my max. I had to stop there as I was starting to feel pain in my lower back. My regular workout went well. I killed it, and now I'm up working late.

I'll be going strict on my diet again starting tomorrow. It's time to drop another 10 lbs.

Yes, for the most part I have just been riding my stationary bike and pushing for 10k+ steps at work. I mess with the resistance on the bike and shoot for 7 miles/30 minutes.
I'm hoping to kick this cold and start classes (spin, bodycombat, bodypump) a couple nights a week- I just found a place that offers them after 6pm
My water intake could use some help, but it's pretty good. I drink a mug of coffee in the AM and then it's water all day. I could drink more though.
I'm averaging between 6-6.5 hours of sleep a night.

Thank you, I did get discouraged. But, I can't imagine what I would have gained had I been on my old life style.
I felt like crap yesterday but forced myself to ride 5 miles when I got home and got my 10k steps in and ate well all day - it felt great to be disciplined.

You look great and are doing awesome! Keep it up!!

I don't post much but I figured I'd post my weight loss here. I find it helps to talk about it, makes me take more responsibility. I'm 30 and 6' 3". In May 2011 I was 325lbs and just out of millwright training. Started a very physical job and was down to 250lbs within a year.

After hitting 250lbs things in my life started to go to shit. Starting in 2012 and through the end of 2014 I lost my mom, her husband/a step dad, an aunt, my grandfather who I was really close to, and I managed to get jumped at a bar and was stabbed twice and fell and shattered my left humerus[upper arm] in 3 spots. I was eating unhealthy and drinking quite a bit in this time.

By the July of 2015 I was up to 336lbs and decided I had to try and lose weight again. I lost 35lbs quickly before winter layoff. I was able to maintain through that and am now down to 287 today. I don't have any goals in mind, just to keep losing weight. I mainly use work as my exorcise but I occasionally go for a walk/jog of about 2.5 miles. Now that I've moved up a few spots at work though my job is a little easier so I might add some more working out in there depending on how fast the weight loss goes. For me, cutting the eating wasn't the hardest part. I'm just so impatient that if I'm not losing around 3lbs a week I get discouraged.

Only -1lb again this week, but I'm not bummed out by it. I'm down -12lbs in about a month.

I know that I ate terrible over Easter weekend but did REALLY well between eating and exercise the rest of the week. I just need to be more consistent and not fall off on the weekends like I have been.

I changed it up and started riding my bike after work, that allows me more time to keep going instead of being rushed. I've been riding 10-10.5 miles the last couple of nights and am really enjoying it. I'm on the tail end of this sinus infection and will be hitting the gym hopefully starting Monday.

Starting to feel good about myself again

How much sleep do you get each night? What is the quality of your sleep like?

Have you had your thyroid checked out?

What does your T-level look like?

What kinds of foods are you eating? Are you tracking your calories? How many calories a day do you eat? What does your macronutrient breakdown look like?
