Same reason Michael Jordan quit baseball so quick. It's hard to make that big of a change when the way you were doing it was getting shit done as it were.
Okay, shitty example, but whatever.

Too bad he didn't take more time to dial it in to his liking. With parts like that, you can tune them so much more than conventional buggy suspensions. Still, the feel will NEVER be what a straight axle would be. Bummer for us that he's not taking it any further, BONUS for someone else that ends up with some incredible parts!

I agree.

Not a huge bouncer fan, but I was really hoping he'd stick with the IFS and break some new ground.

Seems like it was too hard for him to figure out so he's going back to what he knows. Weak.

where are all the shit talkers who said it would be game changing and TC is pushing the sport forward yet again blah blah blah.

I'm not a fan either but can appreciate a guy trying to try something new. I cannot fathom why he is giving up so quickly. From all his other stuff he didn't seem like the type to give up.

From all the reading I've ever done on IFS, it just seems like the design didnt take advantage of any of the benefits.....No KPI, No camber/caster gain.....Just what I think, which on the internet is always right.....(Or always wrong??) but if he had paid someone to put it together, I would bet it wouuld have worked completely differant,.

I'm just a keyboard jockey though, so what the hell do I know. Wish I had that parts list .

Until you contribute some real tech to this board, no one cares what you think.

im guessing he realized he was in over his head to really get it to work. and instead of spending x amount of years figuring it out. going back to what he knows so he can win. the knowledge needed for ifs setups is mind boggling. i tried to figure it out when building long travel sand rails and i was lost for a long time.

After watching that, I'd throw some stiffer springs and tune the shocks a bit. It looked to all around too soft.
