Kind a pissy day outside so plunked down on the couch and started flipping through channels. Stumbled upon one of my favourite all time movies - 'Raising Arizona'.

It's also the only movie I like Nicolas Cage in

Is it really any different than putting large offroad tires and not re gearing the axles

Working on a Lincoln mark viii sucks balls. They really crammed the 4.6 dohc in there. Typical ford bull shit of using oddball bolts. Who the fuck uses 11mm? Currently replacing the oil filter adapter housing gasket. Have to drain the radiator and power steering to accomplish this. Wish I had tiny Trump hands.

Wife watched the kids all day. I got caught up on the yard and rigs. 3 tanks of fuel through the trimmer and almost a full tank through the rider. Got my space cleared where I am going to build my solar kiln for drying slabs. And oil changes for all the rigs.

Feels good to get caught up.
HFD to me.

Wifes sister (no pics ) has a new boyfriend. 20 year old brazillian kid here on a work visa who no speaky the engrish well. Shes a 28 year old tumblr liberal feminist with the body shape of a potato.

I've yet to meet him yet, so I have no real opinion on him, but the cunt sister is already talking about convincing him to stay once his visa is up. This is why I can't go to family gatherings

spent 13 hours at the University of Colorado hospital the other day. Getting back on the Kidney/Pancreas transplant list. I looks very hopeful. The post surgery is gonna suck a major fatty, but doing the same donor organs the organs should last 20 years or so. Lots to look at They do around 300 kidneys a year, but only 15 or so Kidney.Pancreas transplants, but they are at a 100% success rate on those.

Wish me luck Pirate. The actual transplant wont happen immediately, as I still have a few things to get sorted out, but we are moving pretty quick on this (I have a lot of time built up that I can use. It should put me at the top of the list)

Shaved my beard off today. Only had it about 4 months and only trimmed it 1 time. It was kinda an asshole beard. My wife loves it gone, I already miss it. I have a feeling once the weather begins to cool off for fall its coming back. Only take about a week and I have a real beard. And its think after 2-3 weeks. It was nice not shaving my face for a while.

done it a couple of times... go in thru the fender well after you take off the LF tire.

a couple of extensions, a universal and some deep sockets make it about a 1.5 hour job...

The other way (from underneath) took all day...

If you need any other pointers, let me know... been working on the ones I own (owned) since 2003.

Took the wagon the to drag strip. Only ran twice, best was a 13.7 @ 102MPH. Spun off the line, and when i hit 2nd. My first time ever racing, and it was 90*+ with 50+% humidity. Has more in it, but not a ton. Guessing on a good day with a better launch it will go low 13's.

My favorite pic from the night, Misleading as all get out but doesn't stop me from liking the pic of me out in front of a new challenger. We both spun off the line, I got out on him, I was still spinning in 3rd and he blew by me.

Waiting for the shit show to start. Work is always hiring. Uses a temp service. Someone else saw online that the temp service posted a job for fitter/welder for $28-34/hr...I don’t make that and I was told I’m at the top of the payscale when I came back in January.

You can bet your ass the company is paying the temp agency $40+/hr (just the hourly wage, not counting workers comp and other overhead)

I spent the weekend hiking and running with a guy I met online a few years ago from Foresthill, CA to Auburn to run half a lap at the high school track.

Western States 100 mile endurance run. 29 hours and 26 minutes of run/hiking for a bronze belt buckle made in Carson City, NV.
