Or just hit up your local tractor dealer or farm store and get NLGI 0 right off of the shelf (IIRC, lower unit oil should be very similar if you have boat shops around).

Had a short but nasty storm come through on Monday, it knocked out power at my house for about 48 hrs. It was the start of a cooling front so temperatures weren't that bad...didn't miss the A/C much.

Finally get power back today and HVAC starts up...I notice after a while that it doesn't seem to be doing much, the motor on the condenser fan is burnt up. Figures it runs perfect all summer and through the heat wave of the last week or so, guess once it took a break it never woke up again.

Can't complain too much, the unit is a 2010 Goodman that never really went into service until 2013, since then I replaced the contactor once and that's it. $100 for a new motor and cap, delivered Friday, isn't too bad.

Caught the Amazon truck just right I guess.

Ordered a set of steer tires last night, they emailed a bit ago that they'd be here Friday.
Normally takes on average 7-10 days with Prime.

Also ordered a 100 pack of 5" 40grit sanding discs... delivery expected 10-14 August.

Rained last night, first time in weeks. Shop roof leaked in several areas and the counter lady mentioned this morning my lab's blanket got damp.

I didn't think much of it, was trying to do 4 things at once.

Went to fold it up before leaving and it's soaked, like weighs 60lbs soaked.
My old pup never whined or anything, just laid on it all day.

Gonna have to teach what damp means I guess.

Guess we'll just have to have a meet up down there and do a taste test. But isn't Pappasitos a chain restaurant? Rosario's is a Mom and Pop locally family owned.

If one wanted authentic Mexican food without a passport San Antonio would be the place to find it.
I had the best steak I've ever eaten in Matamoras. Mexico a.t a place called "The Green Onion".
Everyone with me ordered Mexican and I ordered steak. I had the better meal by a long shot.

Yea, I think it is. All I've ever had there was fajitas the couple of times I've been... so I can't comment on the rest of the menu. The fajitas are good enough that it's not worth trying something else.

Yep, I googled it and they show 4 locations in the DFW area.

IIRC I've eaten there before. Back in my single days, and I really don't remember the food so much, because I was on a HOT Date.

I do remember it was a good score!

Itís a chain, but not every city. Mostly the larger ones. Itís owned by the Pappas brothers who also own Pappadeaux, Pappas Bar-B-Que, and some others.

Last weekend with temps pushing 100* the wife complained the house was too hot.

So I went through the swamp cooler. New pads, new pump, opened up the fill holes etc. Got all the windows dialed in so each room is drawing well. House cools right off.

So now its been running 24/7 and she happy.

Working so good that the damn furnace came on last night. Thermostat was set @ 50*.

Went out and bought a 'new' car last night. Got tired of fixing my shit all the time and not having ac.

2015 Grand Cherokee Limited. Fully loaded to Overland package less suspension.

Has 25k on it but 100k warranty and 3m bumper to bumper.

Paid more than I wanted to spend, but it was the best buy out of the ones on the lot.

Going to pick it up shortly then get to enjoy some nice AC, and cooled seats. No more swamp ass when driving.

Congrats man, I keep considering doing the same. None of my vehicles have AC, been driving the oldest one a lot lately since it has wing windows and kick panel vents.

Just spent almost $200 on light switches and outlets for the house remodel.

Wish I was buying a new truck instead.
But my new truck now looks like a new bathroom.

At least it will clean my ass.

Come on the Envoy was only 14 years old. Barely broken in!

This is officially the lowest mile, newest (by current year vs veh year) vehicle I have ever owned- well will own after a few easy installments.....

Nice Dan!

Wanna see my new truck?
Notice the nice granite dash board with brushed stainless instruments.
The the water air conditioner closet with artistic tile cooling panels.
Then there's the raised Drivers seat with fast flush.

Sorry for the sideways pictures. I was on the floor crying when I took them!

It will have bullet resistant safety glass installed in two weeks. Oh and let's not forget the hammered bronze rear view mirrors that are bought, but not installed. Don't plan on backing up anytime soon.

Coulda bought a nice used BMW !

Then my new motor home and vacation in Italy will be installed in the kitchen and living room.

At least I'm not making payments on any of this....

Who ever said it was cheaper to keep her has never remodeled a house with my wife.......

I put a battery in this comanche and after 3 years of sitting it fired up and the clutch works.

I was surprised.

hopped in the idi and fired it up after sitting the whole winter, didn't even open the hood or anything

my dad was absolutely shocked, as his grand cherokees will drain the battery in a week (2 ZJs and 2 WJs)

magic of an IDI and manual trans. I'm not certain but I think the radio is one with the power switch in the volume knob so even that won't draw anything

reminds me I need to add a kill switch on my 12v when I redo the battery leads.

This is a v6, rated for like 24 highway. The envoy got 16 on a good day.

Its gonna take some getting used to, but from the little I have driven it today I am digging it. Wish the heated seat was hotter, and still have to play with the seat some to find the sweet spot. Other than that the lay out seems good, the display is easy to navigate, so far so good.
