I've got a spare samurai tank I could send your way. Shipping might be a lot though.

I've gotten lazy in my old age and just take my tanks to my local radiator shop and let them boil them out, tumble them, then seal them with aircraft fuel tank sealer. Maybe that's reversed order. But I don't care, they come back ready to hook up and run.

They are just down the road from an airport where a lot of guys have them seal fuel tanks for them.

Cost is $150 each. And clean as a new whistle inside and out. Turn around usually 2 days.

There were days in my younger days when I had to get inventive. Mostly because I enjoyed the challenges.

I have time at work to kill and no Radiator shops within 80 miles. It's looking pretty good in there now, got a couple OEM fuel filters ordered, by the time they get here I'll have the tank back in and then can drive this thing more than 1/2 a mile.

I thought about checking there but didn't. I know this one fits right.

Just checked ,169 bucks before shipping and not rubber lined outside like this one. I don't mind a few hours of fiddling.

Just got back from a 16 hour road trip to buy this.

Hoping to start a rental business with it.

I will be changing it a decent amount. Some paint, wide wheels / tires / fenders.

Hoping to build one myself this winter so I can start with 2 of them next year.

They are Miata running gear / suspension mounted to new frame.

Weigh 1,500 lbs.

Just picked my daughter up from her friends 21st birthday party. She is currently in the bathroom throwing up the 5 margaritas and 2 shots of tequila she drank. I have zero sympathy, I warned her.

I think wide wheels would slow those down. Cool cars supercharged though!

A good father would have taught her to hold her liquor.

My Ex wifes Dad taught his kids to hold their liqour. His Dad taught him.
He was a wife beating Mother Fu*ker! Bastard tried to fight me many times because I wouldn't get drunk with him. I pissed on his grave after he died.

Of his 4 children, his 1st son died in a 1 car drunk driving accident, a second son almost died in a drunk driving accident after stealing Corvette while drunk and running from the law. The Ex Con is now living with his sister dying of liver disease. The Sister he is living with has been married 4 times, done every illegal drug on the planet and has screwed up her children so bad they are unrecognisable as humans. Then there is my Ex who liked to party with rich people who were buying and wrecked a 17 year marriage to go on to 2 other bad marriages. She's a piece of work! Looks like Hillary Clinton.

Yep, Good Plan. Worked out great for my Ex's Family.

Santa, teach her to drink responsibly and in moderation if she must drink.
Never to enjoy it to the extreme.

Alcohol has it's place, but as you know, it has wrecked more lives than can be counted.

After seeing how my wife acts when drinking both of my daughters don't drink. When the older one turned 21 they barely got her to drink 1 glass of wine. They being my wife and Brother in law. And she just married a guy who doesn't drink. Works for me. I haven't drank alcohol in years because I don't like going to jail and I had no middle ground.

Just because you married into a family of deadbeats doesn't mean everyone who drinks excessively is a deadbeat.

How do you know where the line is if you never walk up to it to see it?

Good on you. I think there are more regular folk kids who wouldn't call dad to come pick them up under those circumstances, than would.

Blew up the engine in my Ranger over the weekend.

Looking for the engine out of an 2000ish Taurus to replace is because I have manual steering and want to use the Taurus belt drive and might as well swap to EDIS at the same time and may as well bump compression with flex fuel heads.

None of the fucking junkyards can tell me whether the engine comes with brackets and stuff. Like, you've supposedly got 5+ of these in stock, I'm sure one of them hasn't had all the shit taken off it yet.

We have games later this afternoon, but they might be called due to heat index
