I get that shit from my company all the time. Got a call 3 weeks ago from the main office telling me I have to drive to St Louis to disassemble, move and reassemble the biggest piece of drilling equipment the manufacturer in Italy makes. I didnt even know there was one in the country, but apparently their was and I was going to move it. No directions, no books, no nothing. Just a "get it on the truck" from the main office. Yay me

Who is going to rent it and for how much? How do you insure that thing as a rental? Seems like it would be easy to crash and die in spectacular fashon.

Got to start one of(the boat has 2)the V-16 MTU DIESEL Engine on one of the boats to find an exhaust leak in the jet room. These things are cool. Individual cylinder heads instead of one big head. Easier to do valve cover and head gaskets when needed.
Starting engine swap to replace both engines starting tomorrow.

Got a call Monday afternoon from another customer, right before I finished up the first job, who needed my services out in Hobbs, NM. Left Mccamey and drove to Hobbs. Took a look at the rig and it ended up needing parts overnighted to me to repair. Got the parts this morning, made the repair and GTFO of there. Made it back to Lamesa, Tx and the phone rings again..... Customer in El Paso wants me out there to disassemble his rig as soon as I can. 5.5hrs later I get to their shop. From the looks of it I'm going to be here until Friday afternoon. I'm 9.5hrs away from the house and will not be home until sometime Saturday.

AND THE GIANT KICK IN THE BALLS FOR THE WEEK.....

Parts for another rig up in Wyoming just showed up at my shop from the factory in Italy. I have to load up the parts Saturday afternoon and head up to Medicine Bow, Wyoming Sunday morning so I can be on site Monday.

So, right now I'm sitting at the hotel bar getting fucked up on Long Island Ice Teas dreading my 9.5hr and then 17hr drives I have coming in the next few days.

I love my job......
Hiring because that's right up my alley

Got a hair up my butt this week to start back on my Buick project car. Working on one of the doors got it nice a straight. Laided down 2 nice coats of Black Base Coat. Finish up the 3rd coat and paint drips from the gun. Used the last bit of base I had and now I get to sand it all down and start again.

Was just shaking the last bits out of a bag of Paqui Haunted Ghost Pepper chips into my mouth and some of the dust hit my right eye. I thought "this will not be good".

It did smart a bit.

We aren't house shopping but I was about to buy a house today.

A friend of mine told me about it. 3500ft^2, 5 acres, 1 shop, 2 barns, 2 car garage, legit clean updated interior, not in a super great area but an area i am VERY familiar with (grew up 4 miles away), asking 330k. I convinced myself that the extra 15-20m drive to work was worth it, figured out how to get the financials in order, made an appt to check it out.

On the market for about 50 days

Realtor calls to verify availability. Sumbitch went under contract this morning. I am more disappointed than I was expecting considering we aren't even house shopping

I live in one of the best riding areas in the Country.

I will be renting them for use on the Tail of the Dragon. Little stretch of road we have, 318 turns in 11 miles. Kinda a cool area.

we get 14 million visitors here per year.

Lots of insurance will be part of my business.

They rent for $500 per day.

Hes saying that thing is a homoghey pile, and hes correct. If I didnt show up with my own car for the trip, I'd rent any other sports car I could find before strapping myself in that bucket of aids.

Well I guess you are stupid as fuck.

It is quite literally the most amazing, funnest vehicle I have ever been in and I've owned Lamborghinis and Turbo Porsches.

The way it looks in that picture is how it looked when I bought it. That is not how it is staying. I am rebuilding it currently.

I am in the process of buying another and will be building 2 more over the winter.

You are fucking stupid. (in case you missed it earlier)

This is similar to how it will be looking soon.

If that is not something you would want to run around on some badass roads on then you must be a fuckwadpenis.

3 weeks of my free time putting a swing set together. Now I completely understand why no one wanted to help. This thing is an abomination unto god. I'm totally looking forward to piling it up with the tractor and burning it 8-10 years from now.

One more home project off my plate

The further along you get, the easier it is... because you're eliminating stuff and it gets easier to find what you need. Building the thing was easy- finding the shit you need to accomplish whatever page you're on is the hard part.

There were 38 different bags of hardware.

Shits finally coming together. After a couple years of unhappy marriage, a year and a half of divorce and having to live in my parents basement while still paying for a house I never wanted.

This evening I cut up the lumber to reframe for new windows, tore out flooring to expand the master bath of my house. Had a fire with the scrap while drinking beer on the patio. Got gun parts sitting on the bench, got some test pieces done for an invention I came up with. And its only a friggen tuesday night. Life is grand
