I'm glad that it was an easy fix and engine isn't busted (yet)!

I was gonna ask how you could tell there was an additional noise. LMAO

While the 6.2L diesel normally sounds like a front loading clothes drier full of hammers, it started sounding like the clothes drier was broken, too.

Spent the long weekend with the wife & pups in Hot Springs, Arkansas checking out the ORV park, both national parks and a bunch of other cool shit! Wife did a little wheeling in her JKUR on the #1 & #2 trails at the ORV park, and she did great! I took it out on the #3 trails (would have done harder trails but no friends and no winch. Lol) I am very happy with the improvements I made to it over the last few months. Wheels much better with a little bit more lift and the new air bumps.

Ever since moving to Tx from RI we have been looking for a getaway spot. Finally found it and can't wait to go back!

I laughed way harder at this than I should have.

I bottled a batch of my mead this afternoon. I should end up with about 23 bottles when the last gallon clarifies. I didn't print enough labels though. I'll have to print another sheet tomorrow. Drink up. I used 71b-1122 and 24 pounds of local honey. It really only went to about 10%ABV and it's very sweet with a bit of spicy.

Someone out of France got my CC over night. To the tune of almost $3,000. Woke up to a text alert. Called the CC and they canceled it and are issuing a new card.

Lovely start to the day.

Theater tickets or something of the like. Looks like they hit it a few times for $150 ish - testing it maybe?

Then a hit of like $2,300 at the same place.

CC was great, easy to deal with and no hassle.

Last place I used it was online to buy some stuff for the cruise I am going on, going to contact the cruise line and let them know. It is a card I rarely use so that was the first time in a while it has been used.

That's always fun...

I just got off the phone with my CC company... They were supposed to have sent me a new card on 8/14 because my current one is about to expire, and it still hasn't shown up, so I had to call them to re-issue a new one.

Of course after I get the new one I will have to re-setup all my auto pay accounts with the new number. I love doing that.

Wife just called freaking out. One way or another the kid tipped over in his stroller in the gravel and has a "huge gash" over his eye. Shes freaking out and I can hear him in the background trying to talk to the dog. "Calm down babe, he will be fine, I'll meet you down at urgent care"

She insisted on the one in our town disregarding the fact that I told her its closed on sundays. Fml

I remember those days.

Wait until you guys have the 2nd one.

You'll get home and question the band-aid over the kid's eye. The Wife will say, "Oh, he fell. It's what boys do". You'll both have a drink and life will go on as usual.

If my Wife could have bubble wrapped our son for the first few years, I swear she would have. Thankfully, our twin daughters are living the life of "normal" little kids.

That's exactly what it was. She decided she would tie the Weiner dogs leash to the stroller handle. Oh well

For the hell of it we threw a dozen chicken eggs in the incubator. 4 have hatched and at least 1 more on the way so far. Day 22.

Not bad for completely forgetting about it and not adjusting humidity or stoping the egg turning until day 20 2 easter eggers, 2 mutts, and at least 1 more EE on the way. Hopefully they are not all roosters.

Had to throw together a brooder real fast this morning as the 4 hatched yesterday and were dry today.

no, It's just for fun and experimentation. It's only my fourth batch and I make mistakes. If you stop by I'll give you a bottle. I haven't killed me yet.
