So I've been fighting stripped out starter bolts on my 7.3 tow rig for a couple years. I've been temporarily stranded (till I get my ass under the truck and afro engeneer something probably 5 times.

Well today I decided to fix it against my will. Including making excuses, going to get lunch, and 2 trips to the hardware store it took me about 2-1/2 hours to drill and tap for larger bolts. Maybe 30 minutes of that being actual work.

Tomorrow it will throw a rod.

You can't treat an old whore like that too good, or she'll figure you're looking to turn her into a housewife.

You may not live in the Rockys like I do. I also have a Arctic cat Jag 440 with reverse. It'd be perfect for that but if I want fish I'll buy it.

Yes. I can access trail 100 F2 from my property.

Weekday trail riding in the area is great.

It's funny being where I'm at I always think good riding starts here and goes north, but you guys are in a pretty good snow belt, no?

The trails in Woodford, Somerset, and Glastenbury get hammered with snow and is some of the best riding in New England. Wide open cruisers.

The trails in the Deerfield Valley, which is just east of the above towns get good snow. Trails are much tighter than on the mountain.

We have a little micro climate in my area that tends to get more snow than the surrounding areas.

They also get hammered with Blair Morgan wannabe's every friggin weekend! LOL
I grew up at the bottom of Kellystand, I've ridden those trails for 40 years. They can be awesome or they can be full of whoops. Everybody from three states goes to Woodford when where they live has low to no snow. At one time the Woodford Snobusters club had over 5,000 members.

Agreed. I don't like going up there on weekends. Bunch of out of state yahoos with brand new mountain sleds riding like morons whooping up the trails. If you catch it right, it's amazing riding. The view from the fire tower can't be beat

It's pretty unusual to see one here. I live only 5 minutes outside of city limits and everything around here is mostly flat prairie land.

There's a few eagles around my lake property about two hours east of here but the landscape is drastically different than here. Rocky, hilly and lots of lakes and boreal forest. My lake neighbor has pretty good quality outdoor speakers on his garage. One day this past summer we saw two eagles flying overhead. Apparently there's a nest nearby. Neighbor found a vid on youtube with eagle calls and streamed it to his speakers. About a minute later they flew in close and parked themselves on a couple trees nearby - trying to figure out where the other eagle was...lol

I bought another 3.6 Chevy today at the auction.

My last one I broke even on after spending $3k to have the timing chains replaced and I swore them off.

This one I picked up so cheap I got to be able to make a profit on it (I hope)

2010 Chevy Transverse, damn near perfect condition, loaded real well, 120k miles

$1,320 out the door

This one is only showing the P0008 code without the P0017 ( that combo is the stretched timing chain kiss of death)

I am hoping I can replace just the cam sensor or possibly the actuator?

Would be fucking awesome if that was the case, but worst case $3k still leave some room for me to make a profit )fingers crossed)
