dude,

if youre coming in from tejas on i-10, stop in scott louisiana, there is a pilot truck stop on the north side of exit 78, if you go past the big boy pumps, by the cat scale there will be a magnolia tree. go to that tree and ask the old dude for and order of the "spicy boudin balls" he'll go wherever he goes and 10 minutes later he'll bring you the best lizard around. she will have no problems sucking us all off after hanging sheet rock all day.

Fawk, I said I'd come be a laborer. I'm sorry but my car's going in the shop tomorrow and it's gonna empty my wallet.

I'm sorry.

Anytime Friday is fine. Plane on taking the trailer home, we will be fine.

Don't need to bring anything except yourself.

I dont think im going to make this one. New job, i dont hsve time to take off. Its a 600 mile drive and the day id be leaving, friday, i would leave for work at 4am and get home at 6pm then drive 10 hours.

But when i get paid on friday ill donate what i would have spent down there and back.

Who needs it more, todd, gofundme or the truck thread?

Im really sorry todd. I feel horrible

I had a whole week off between the jobs but the planets just didnt align for it to work out.

Unfortunately, like AG said, I just don't have enough time to make the 8 hour drive feasible. Also like he said next payday I'll be chipping in some beer money, buy good stuff

.
I may be in the same boat. Just got a call about having to work in Fort Worth Friday afternoon. It's 50/50 at this point, but I may just pull an all nighter to be there by Sat AM. Only a 7ish hour drive so shouldn't be too terrible.

Is that food for the weekend? I'm gonna need you guys to feed me. I'm so broke I should cancel the trip, but don't want to this late in the game. Fuel is going on a credit card and there's not much budgeted for food.

If for whatever reason I can't make it out this weekend, I will be out there at some point. Most likely to help put up trim and take credit when it's all finished but in all seriousness, I'm looking forward to getting out there to lend a hand.

Guys, I'm definitely gonna make it. Hell, I get to meet Rooney and help out a pbb member who needs it. Two birds one stone. I almost met dieselmh when I first moved to houston area. Stuck up prick ingored me even though I was yelling his name several times.

Rockemup, any chance you will still need living quarters once he takes his trailer back? If I can catch a ride back close to Houston where my wife can pick me up, I can leave you guys my motorhome. I know you said you could accomodate every one in your house for sleeping arrangements, but I snore too bad to sleep around anyone.

Brimm, your fuel covered 100%? Wish I could get down there and help with the actual work, but Minnesota is a hike!

I'm coming from Conroe, so I could get you near Houston, but I am coming back Saturday night.

Todd, do we have enough hands to cover this? I'm bringing 140 sheets of drywall, 19 doors and insulation with me. I found a hotel to stay in so I plan on coming in Friday night, meeting you guys and dropping my trailer and then going to the hotel.

Give me a shout if I need to round up some guys.

We're going to be short but we'll just do what we can do. Looks like 5 people, 2 of those will be outside finishing the siding.

I have a game plan and we'll be fine. I want to finish out the room we will be staying in and anything after that is gravy.

I left about an hour ago. GPS says I'll get there around three if I don't stop.
