Cool!

Sounds like an X-pipe type setup rather than a typical H or "balance pipe"... I see it is an 8 into 1 setup.... Sounds better (and makes more power) than individual dual exits for both banks.

Serious question.. In every video I watch like this there are inner beads lost on a majority of the rigs. Why aren't there more double bead locks being used?

Always thought rock bouncing was kinda lame. Even the name is dumb. It's like a white trash version of formula off road.....

But to each their own

If I was racing them I would have way more protection for the driver! HUGE rocks flying. Someone is going to be looking like Glenn in his finale episode of the walking dead.

This last race was on a dirt hill climb so it wasn't near as dangerous from a rock flying stand point.

This just happened to a buddy of mine at an ATV race. 15lb rock hit him in the face crushing his sinus's, brow bone, eye sockets, and palate. Miraculously he had no brain damage or anything and is on the mend now. Jaw is wired shut for 8 weeks to allow the palate and jaw to heal up after plates and screws were inserted. All the other bones were in so many pieces they said it was too risky to put them back together and possibly lose blood flow. I dont know how these race series get away with this crap either. Spectator safety needs to be more of a concern. All of the bouncer videos I see people super close to the action and rocks and trees and all kinds of stuff flying not to mention the rigs themselves flipping all the time. Is it going to take someone dying to change it all?

spectator safety, while a concern for the course designers and hosts, should really be a helluva lot more on the spectator. They are small and can move easily, plan a tiny bit ahead where you are going to stand

That sucks. Was he wearing a helmet? Did you see any spectators near the course at this race? Nope. You must be watching older videos, the safety at these events is way better than it used to be. (King of the Hammers wasn't that safe in the beginning either) You are more likely to get injured on your way home from work than at one of these races and a spectator or a driver.

I don't know why all these nannys up in here worry about it anyway. It's not like they go to these events or race in them. Just drama queens.
