As a poor college student, I had a roommate who regularly (like almost everyday) ate macaroni and cheese sandwiches. He would buy a loaf of cost-cutter white bread and a $0.12 box of cost-cutter macaroni and cheese. He'd douse the mac and cheese with tabasco (from a food service type jug of tabasco he lifted from a dorm kitchen) and make sandwiches.

Of course I tried it and it was not half bad. It became normal routine for us to cook a pot of mac and cheese, throw it on the table with a spoon and loaf of bread and eat straight from the pot without plates or utensils. We lived like sub-humans during college.

If anyone wonders why America has an obesity epedemic, I'll just point them to this thread....

I'm ready to throw up my lunch now.

That being said...
PB/Bacon or banana is an amazing sandwich
I'll put bbq sauce on anything
50/50 ranch/bbq is the best dipping sauce for fries

I noticed several people mention apple pie and cheddar cheese. Never though it was an odd combo.

The below is from the 1999 VT state legislature:

NO. 15. AN ACT RELATING TO DESIGNATING THE STATE PIE AND THE STATE FRUIT.
(H.302)
It is hereby enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Vermont:
Sec. 1. 1 V.S.A. 512 is added to read:
512. STATE PIE
The state pie shall be apple pie.
Sec. 2. SERVING APPLE PIE
When serving apple pie in Vermont, a "good faith" effort shall be made to meet one or more of the following conditions:
(a) with a glass of cold milk,
(b) with a slice of cheddar cheese weighing a minimum of 1/2 ounce,
(c) with a large scoop of vanilla ice cream.
Sec. 3. 1 V.S.A. 513 is added to read:
513. STATE FRUIT
The state fruit shall be the apple.
Approved: May 10, 1999

Okay maybe the combination isn't weird, but the ratios were all off. It worked out to like a 50/50 mix.

Cook my bacon with brown sugar.

I eat a lot of sardines and crackers. Or tortillas chips.
