Reno flooding?

Know anyone in Reno? Know if they are ok? Jake Yeoman is running around in his 6x6 mil truck right now looking for people to rescue in what looks like 3' ~ 4' ft deep water.

Gotta have FB to see it but ...

Hasn't been as bad as predicted. Most of the actual flooding was in industrial areas. One area got evacuated because a broken sewage pipe.

Some roads are closed, which has made it hard to navigate. Most have reopened today.

Gena is fine. We've been texting. Even if the river overflows, she lives high enough up to be safe.

Thats how I found out. Ordered a bunch of speed parts Sunday night and didn't see any tracking #'s today.

They said they will re-open tomorrow, but you know they are going to be back logged.

I live in Reno. Flooding was bad but not as bad as originally predicted. Looks like mostly industrial/commercial areas were flooded. I had to work remote today because my office was in a flood zone and all the roads in the area were closed.

The city and county did a great job preparing. Tons of sand bag locations. They stationed excavators on all the bridges to grab debris before it got jammed underneath (pretty cool to see- there's videos of it on Facebook/Instagram).

My sister lives there. She's sent some bad looking pics. Her house it pretty high up though so they are all good.
