The mustachioed one intimated that there was some concern in his opinion that didn't need to be shared publicly over his interaction with Shannon on Spooner's. Tom was stuck, broken, and trying to winch and mentioned his displeasure with how things went.

As in past years, it pretty much boils down to you are either moving or you're part of the trail. He's probably grumpy about being a traction aiding device.

You could have some fun with that one. If the ruling comes down that Shannon takes a penalty for that infraction, think about how much fun you could have with that as a strategy.

As of now, it's just one dude, the other one is quite pleased with how things went and hasn't said anything that's been reported.

I suspect given his fairly blunt communication style that it won't be long before that changes.

Since at one point they had Wayes, Shannon, Wayland, Scherer, Miller, Lucas Murphy, Gilstrap, and Blyer all in or very close to Spooners at once? Yeah I'd think so.

Don't get me wrong, I want to see Tom figure out how to not break his car and win.

Not defending anyone but watching the video and putting yourself in Tom's car, there is almost no way he knew the guy was on the cable based on what he could see.

again, I actually really enjoy watching Tom race and I assume this is just rumors circulating and that no one who matters is getting that wrapped around the axle over this. I want to see the Mustache memes after he wins.

I'm going to have to retract what I said after looking at it again and hearing Tom's comments. When he first made it up, he was far enough beside the other car to see what was going on. Everything after that makes him a dick.

I don't even understand why he went to the right in that video, it appeared that there was plenty of room on the left to go by and he actually wasted time and risked taking himself out by going the way he did.

Sure it was cool looking and put on a show but those don't seem like the kind of decisions that put you in the winners circle.

My favorite part of the race yesterday came from some helo footage. Bit fuzzy on all the details but it showed Tom hauling the mail past a car that thought it was moving out. Then both of them get passed by Healy who just about makes them look like they were out for a Sunday stroll. Healy was just flat out getting some.

I just find some irony in him bitching about a winch line being run over, if that is what happened.

He could have easily taken the left line and not risked a co-driver/winch line/rollover.
