To the left are a couple 70s Barracuda/Challengers, that's why I panned out the pic.

Does it count if it is your own driveway? Bought this today. 69 rs/ss 350 4 speed. Friends of my parents bought it back in 81. it was completely stock with the original Daytona yellow and black stripe. Too bad they had to paint it this stupid color. I have childhood memories of riding around in this car and always have wanted it. So when they told me they were selling it, I jumped on it. It's been sitting for a long time and needs a lot of work but its in good shape.

that thing will be cool when you fix it... when that thing sits down, it will be sweet....

We did a 69 z28 years ago and unfucked it from what the people had done to it and got it back to pretty close to original.... what a great car!

This has been sitting in my 'hood forever. I think it was on the street 10+ years ago but now its generally hidden by shrubbery except this time of year.

I don't remember if I've ever posted my little beater truck in here. Bought this last year from a charity auction with 89k miles. I think I gave $370 for it or something stupid cheap.

That's not cool or old. It's just a pile of garbage. Does not belong in here

I know of no aftermarket cranks for any domestic V8 that will do it. As far as I know, the Ford 5.2 Voodoo motor is really your only choice. I'm not sure if they've done it yet but it was supposed to be offered as an FMS crate engine. They left an unpriced slot in the catalog for it.
I found a vid on youtube where a guy bought a flat-plane SBC engine that someone built in the late 50s early 60s. He went through it and fired it on a test stand. I think it sounded terrible, like a small aircraft engine or a couple of old tractors racing each other or something. It had kind of a nice rasp at high rpm WOT, but just revving it at part throttle sounded like ass. Part of the cool sound of the exotic flat plane engines is from the intake noise. Seems like a waste of time since the typical American 90 deg V8 sounds so GOOOOODDD.

You need to hear a new GT350 in person. They take American V8 to a new level of dead sexy.
