Better late than never. I sent $20. If its not needed for the engine, use it for beer during the installation party.

Greg gave me the ok to come in here a little bit ago. You guys are unbelieveable. My wife and and I can't thank you enough. That truck is how I make a living. I really can't put into words what this means to us. When I told my wife what Greg had told me she burst into tears asking what we did to deserve this. Again guys I don't know how to thank yall enough. All I can do is say I will continue to do what I do and help where I can.

From what I can tell (we have actually never met) you deserve it. You're always jumping in to help people like that truck after the flood. You go above and beyond. Just keep doing what you do and being who you are, thank you for all your help.

x2. The simple fact that you claim to not understand why you deserve this is a pretty good indication why you do.

I do not know you personally...but your reputation preceeds you and what you have done for others on this forum. No form of repayment should be felt necessary. Thanks is not necessary, as this is us thanking you and your wife for your sacrifices for us.

Sent $5.00 as requested by Stuckntx as I wanted to send him some beer money for helping me find those American Racing center caps.

I'd put a D60 front in it if I brought it. Toyota took awhile to sell, and I found a 2001 PSD. Its a nice truck through.

I spoke to Brimm earlier today. He was aware that something was going on, just not on this level. With that said, here's what I told him. For anyone other than him, I doubt we could have done what we did in 24 hours. This is due entirely to the type of guy he is. ALWAYS offering, assisting and lending a hand in any circumstance no matter how inconvenient or troublesome it is for him. The only thanks we need is for him to keep doing what he always does. Hell, I told him it's somewhat of an insurance policy that we have a guy like him around with the equipment he needs

Additionally, doing things like this is a win all around. Those that took part feel good and a good guy gets something that he deserves. This is how the world is supposed to work.

Anyway, thanks for the donations. Everyone stepped up in a big way, and fast. A few guys chipped in some SIGNIFICANT pesos. I'll leave you anonymous for now. Brimm will be posting the details when the swap will go down. He said help is welcome. We should have money leftover for food/beverages and maybe even a motel room or two for a night if people want to travel to assist.

The world needs more dudes like you Ger.

I'd suggest getting a set of good headers at a decent price with stainless steel exhaust manifold studs that go into the head.

Broken exhaust manifold studs are a common problem spot on these trucks so I think it would be wise to correct this problem before the new engine is put in.

Brimm has been pushing me a bit to do this. But, I just don't use 4 wheel drive much. I'd rather put the money into a fast miata.

If I can make the install (August is getting busy, quick), I'll bring at least 1 keg of beer. I just brewed that lemon zest wheat that I think I had at Cary's?

There a date for install yet? Sent a little last night. It is a bit of a drive but I have been driving around a lot lately so maybe I could put the house on hold and roll down.
