Not so much. Mustang is shorter height and length, narrower, and weighed almost 2000 pounds less. Not sure where you got your info from.

I eyeballed a new Lincoln in a mall last week, and I've driven several '67 & '68 Mustangs. The Lincoln may be heavier (my XK is heavier than my '92 Ramcharger) because it's got more crap in it, but it is NOT bigger than the Mustang.

Numbers do not agree with you. The Lincoln is larger in all 3 dimensions as well as weight.

I saw a newer Lincoln last week that I would have thought was a Taurus if it hadn't had the Lincoln emblem on the front. Bigger than all the 60s Mustangs is all I would say.

That's pretty damn cool. Who cares if the car is a dime a dozen mustang, its the freakin Steve McQueen Bullitt car, that's the cool part. Every car guy on earth knows that car. It'd probably go for insane money at auction. You get two old guys that have money that loved that movie back in the day and bam, its worth millions.
