There's a guy from the UK called UrchFab. He has skills. Go check out his MX5 that he put an old ford body on. It's super cool. He's good at the video part too. Reminds me of Binky and the Bad Obsession guys.

Thanks for the mentions everyone, I've been a long time Pirate member and really appreciate all of you watching our videos.

We have a few different shows.

If you like rock bouncers we have Rock Rods and Rock Rods Tech (which includes lots of good info on building all types off offroad vehicles.

Knucklehead Garage- where me and my buddies work on our own project vehicles often times in our tiny home garages.

Deathwish- This is our newest show that follows Josh Mazerolle (the guy most of you have seen on hoonigan with his Twin turbo hilux rat rod truck.

We also have UTV stuff with Extreme UTV and Extreme UTV Tech.

Then there is Trail Ride Revolution where we say the hell with racing and make trail riding great again.

Here is the latest episode of Deathwish-

Gale Banks has a fairly fascinating series going on about aftermarket diff covers:

His other general content is pretty good as well. Sometimes a bit dry but always science and engineering behind it.

Demuro makes frequent, greivous errors about cars. He doesn't understand the most basic thing about cars, at all. He is a User Experience guy. I want to watch what a Millenial will make of a '70s American land yacht, but I have to rage quit his videos, he's so ignorant.

Add REgularCars to that list as well.

Leno is god. He's a dick, he's stuck up, he's no fun, and he's a selfish twat, but he is a god when it comes to automobiles. Leno brings the President of car clubs onto the show, a guy who has owned and been employed in ONE specific model of cars his entire adult life, and Leno starts informing HIM of the car (what a jerk Leno is )

The guy truly and sincerely loves cars, and he keeps his best stuff on his YT and not on the CNBC show.

Also, I don't remember him owning a single Chevy? He's got Buicks, Chrylsers, McLarens, Fords, Dodges, Oldsmobiles, Stutzs, Hispano-Suizas, but no Chevies?

Man after my own heart. Chevies are BOOOOOOOOO-riinnnnnnnng.

I thought Leno had a significant first or second gen Corvette and didn't he have a Nomad at some point? Pretty sure he's owned a few Chevy products.

Jay Leno
boattest.com - Hatteras GT70 you must be mine!
Cruising the Cut - Guy was a TV presenter he's got his shit together
CountryHouseGent
Myvintageiron7512 - UTI instructor with his own engine rebilding biz/shop
Fleming Yachts - The founder of the company cruising his yachts to all kinds of locations
Kris Harbour Natural Building - Weird alien-head guy who gets all kinds of Welsh free hippy labor
Union Pacific - 844 and 4014 are both broken. Running, making steam, both broken
Cooking with the Blues - Never trust a skinny chef
ADVChina - I can't believe these guys haven't gone missing yet, especially the South African one. Recently both of them said Vietnam was awesome and what they wish China still was They must be on the payroll somehow, no way Chinese would stand for that.
Nick's Garage - doesn't like Fords, but a lot of Mopar candy

Yeah, I seem to remember a Nomad. I was wracking my brains about the Vette, there are several significant examples he'd surely want to have.

I'm not sure I consider the Corvette a Chevy It's great because GM keeps it as far away from Chevy as possible.

My favorite Channel moment is Jay chirping 2nd in his '66 Coronet. He really is like us.

I'm more blue oval but Hemis... they're Hemis

And my favorite Leno story, great one, and GREAT car. Got that badass Rousch 511 inch FE in it I fuckin' love good restomods.

That story though

Been watching urchfab for the last week... when he started the project I thought he was crazy. Boat-loads of work and not a huge amount of tools. He's been good.

Sampson Boat Co and Acorn to Arabella are.among my favorite. You should check out SV Seeker as well, building a 72 foot steel sailboat in his front yard in Tulsa.

Sorry that someone's different take on a vehicle doesn't match your preferences.
I watch his stuff precisely because he's not the same old boring review angle.

But all his points were things that actually make the car cool, they weren't relevant at all. I don't mind counterview points, if they bring something to the table.

-The car was produced in AU (that's a + in my mind)

-The engine cover is an adapted Holden cover missing a Chevy logo (who the fawk cares if the throw away plastic engine cover has a chevy logo?)

-The car is too well equipped and has too many options (umm....)

-The paint color and hues available are unique ( more ummm…..)

-The dash has an embroidered "SS" logo possibly covering a Holden logo (big fawking deal, and again, unique and cool showing the cars heritage as an AU/import)

those were just a few I remember. Plenty of other equally irrelevant stuff or stuff that is actually positive, he was trying to spin as negative.

Watched a couple other videos of his as well just to logic check his style and it is the same. I agree with evernoob on this one.

The problem with Doug and Regular Car Reviews, is they are too young to completely appreciate the time period the vehicle came from.

ie: Doug reviewing a mid 70's Cadillac and complaining about things that where the defacto standard on every luxury brand at the time, not to mention his seemingly oblivious nature to big cubic inches and low horsepower but big torque in those vehicles.
I've exchanged emails with both guys, and they are receptive to hearing you out. But they definately come from a time that engine management computers rule the day, and mask a lot of the quirks a carb'd vehicle brings to the table and how much the driver needs to pay attention to what the engine is telling them.
---

Anyway, good old school, no b.s. youtube channel, and for those you remember Car Illustrated fondly will like;
Uncle Tony's Garage.

That's the point, he brings a different viewpoint to a review. He highlights things all the other reviewers ignore. Different strokes...………….

Tfbtv. Mostly gunnreviews. Does shows from shot show and triggercon. Mailroom ones where viewers bust on lead host for being a tight clothes wearing douche are pretty funny but he takes it in stride.

Jerry Mikulec, guy can shoot a gun.

ColdWarMotors is my current favorite. Saves old junk from the crusher and makes it run again, Home looks like a used car lot from the 60's or 70's, Sometimes does full restorations, drinks, smokes, and shit talks with his crew, Wastes massive amounts time using massive amounts of bodywork talent to achieve pointless but exceedingly cool endeavors. Has an affinity with base model cars and classic tires. It's a car show for guys that hate the discovery channel formula of car shows.
