It's 86 for two years here, and that's the same for all non commercial passenger cars and trucks, AFAIK.

Used to be that way here, too. I guess when they figured out they could just make money on anything they said, it went away.

Maybe they dont get as much from your bike because there are no emissions requirements as there are for your truck, so they get ya in the registration

Edit: just registered my 86 2wd toyota pickup today and it was 142 bucks

You have got to be high to include the smokin emoticon in that sentence.

I hope for your own sake you can tag somewhere else next year. It's mind blowing that the majority just accepts it and keeps voting the way they do.

The legislature created the fee increase bill and voted and passed it. There have been two unsuccessful repeal through popular referendum vote and the first has died already due to lack of signatures.

Haha, No shit....

My tags are up in march, and supposed to be another $175, but somehow slipped through the cracks I guess. My service truck got caught up in that. $500 to register an 84 gmc 2500 I sold it.

Edit: Yes people keep voting for these idiots. The same that voted yes on prop 47 etc...

Cars are like 50 usually, this last year they jumped up a shitload to 70, so I'll have to ask about that.

absolutely its a beautiful place. I enjoyed exploring around the yuba and shit while I was there.

I also found it to be full of dumb. Simply a shocking amount of people that were absolute morons incapable of critical thinking or managing a thought that wasn't implanted by some authority figure.

I declined to move to the west coast.

You all can make fun of Ohio as much as you want, but my car registration cost me like $35.
and no emissions
and low property taxes
and minimal gun laws
and people that aren't completely indoctrinated by the state.

You guys say this like it is nothing. Mockingly? You have obviously never surfed, and probably never went skiing I take it. I would surf every second of my life if I could afford it and didn't have responsibilities. And the same with snowboarding really. The way I see it, life is short and fleeting, so have as many happy moments as you can before you die. What else is the point? My column of happy moments is infinitely longer than my column of unhappy moments.

Do what makes you happy, if that is sitting around freezing your asses off, and/or baking in the heat and humidity, talking about politics, then have at it, I do not envy you(oh, but you only pay $35 to register your shit box, whoopee).

Oh....lucky her, a $500 vacation....

Meh, like I said, whatever makes you happy. I don't really care about who chooses to live where, and why. I don't spend my time worrying about other places that don't effect me.

Oh, but the CA politics spreads to other states, so I have to incessantly worry about how terrible it is??

Well vote for someone with a spine to run your town then.

Fuck that noise. It rains sunshine here. Yes it rains firestorms, undocumented persons, piss poor politics, over population etc...

They're just happy because their state rains bullets, lower cost of living, and shorter lines at the local Walmarts et al. Mexican gangs are still hanging out behind the scenes dealing heroin and meth to their children's children, same as here.

Well jeezus criminony. The resident expert on all things Ca has spoken. Six...whole...months...you probably have seen anything and everything worthy.

If you don't surf, don't like the beach, don't snowboard, don't like mild year round weather, and live your life based on politics, it probably does suck.

It is as great as I think, for me and my family. And that is all I really care about. You should try it, you know....worrying about yourself and not other people.

I just realized how lame and circular this argument is, trying to convince someone that what I like is good, and what they like is not as good, and vice-versa. Life advice, do what makes you happy. Fuck the rest.
THE END

you just described the only reason for PBB to exist.

why do you come here if not to argue endlessly on the internet. Does GCC serve any other purpose?
