Nope, but hopefully it will prevent another from putting themselves in the same situation.

Rip Van Winkle is a local legend. Good ol Rip had enuff of his wife's constant nagging & went hunting. He came across Henry Hudson & his crew way out in the boonies who were playing 9 pins (bowling). Rip being a good sport, rolled a few balls & drank the brew from the barrel...Yup, he slept for 20 yrs.

As much as I want him to stick around, we don't have all the details.

It's tough, but we have to respect his and their wishes in this.

I can't second guess their decisions, which are really tough to make.

We can't add to their burden.

Even though I'm halfway around the world and never met the guy in person, I'm still saddened by this.
My dad was in a coma 2 years ago. I sat at his bedside every day for 2 weeks. He fought his way out of it. There is still hope.

From the get-go the information was dire. This might not be a case where he is in a coma that was medically induced or because of very serious illness. He might have sustained serious trauma, like really bad.

We all want him back. He would know that. I am not sure what is going to happen, none of us are. I am praying and so are just about all of us.

I am hoping against hope.

Itís possible something happened to him while he was driving that caused him to run off the road. Maybe stroke or something. Just speculation but something caused him to crash and as far as I know heís a safe driver.

Either way waiting on news sucks.

Prayers for your speedy recovery sent again screwy.

Problem is that ford doesn’t carry seat belts for older vehicles like screwys. Heck, I bought the last seat belt for my 1996 F350 ford had in their system and that was around ten years ago.

I bought at the time that auto mfgers should be required to keep available older model vehicle safety components like seat belts. I guess you might get lucky and find a good working one in a JY or modify something else to fit, but will you trust that in a crash?
I'll second this. My excursion had a bad buckle, you had to try several times to get it to latch. It was a 2000 and ford no longer sold that buckle

No new updates today.

If there was anything that changed, Jenny would have let me know via text.

Sorry folks, that's all I've got.

This ^^^ x2.

Trust the people that Screwy loves and trusts.

Trust that they will do what is best for him even though they want him back worse than we do.

That being said, I'll believe in whatever miracle can glue our shattered garden gnome back together.

Screwy, this is right in your wheelhouse - a great trolling opportunity.
Take the expert diagnosis under advisement and, with all due respect, tell the doctors:

I have never met Screwy in person but he trolled me so hard it actually made me think and re-evaluate my personal beliefs. I decided I was indeed correct and he was wrong, but that little fucker made me think about it for several days. I have told several friends about Screwy and his condition, and how it is making me feel. They think I'm nuts to feel so strongly about a internet troll, but he got into my head.

Don't die dude, we need people like you in our lives.

Having to have already make that decision more than once, it is the hardest decision anyone has to make, as you will second guess yourself even though you have discussed their condition at length with the Dr's, and have flat out asked what they would do with a loved one in the same situation. Hopefully their decision is a "maybe/if-then" one, as described earlier, and he would then have a chance at a full recovery, or one one that he would be happy with.

I don't believe "we" really hated him. Just good ole banter over opinions and crap throwing. There is only one person I can think of that is hated here. Screwy is NOT that person for sure. If he's trolling us, I'm going to kill him!
