Life accomplishments

After watching the threads about Clark. I started thinking. When each of us pass, what will we have wanted to accomplish in our lives?
Clark did some pretty cool stuff in his lifetime. I donít know if he would have felt that he had accomplished what he had on his list.
What do you think for your own life?

I dont consider it a huge accomplishment but I am definitely happy I can leave the jeep to the boys someday. It would be nice to have something my father built and worked on with his bare hands just to look at and think. Ya know pop built this thing himself.

Knocking away at it.

Still more traveling to be done - check things off the bucket list.
Finish my Miata build to where I want it to be.
Goal is to trailer it to Southern California and put it through its paces on the track/local canyon areas.

Rest is more in line with getting mortgage paid for, second source of income and to be in a good financial spot when ready to say bye to working for living.

I want to get to the point where I only have to work if I want to and not because I have to. Assuming I live a full life I want to be able to leave my kids enough so that they only have to work if they choose to.

I would like to be able to leave them enough money that would supplement their income so they could make a living working at a job they love, and not have that job just because of the pay.

I feel like if you leave your kids that much they turn into ungrateful D-bags, I would consider a tiered disbursement. More money the later in life.

At this point: A whole lot of half done projects and several derelict cars in the yard... I'm going to need to live to 100 to get it all done!

I just want to be a good husband, father, and friend. And be remembered fondly as such. Anything beyond that is just gravy

Have a positive impact on those I come into contact with.
Leave nothing unsaid.
Try to be a better person today than I was yesterday.
Set foot on 7 continents (2 to go) and go every place I haven't been.
Learn from everyone and read all the best books.
Do cool shit

Leave my little piece of the world better than I found it.

My priorities have changed dramatically since getting married again and having kiddos. I used to have a long list of vehicles I wanted to build, being self employed as a fabricator/general automotive and heavy equipment tech, and not much after that. Now my focus is being the dad I didn't have and ensuring my kids are raised correctly-not just well. That involves being the husband I never saw my dad be and take on a whole realm of responsibilities I didn't know existed... Once I feel confident the kids are old enough and on their own path in life I'd like hand build a house (I've done everything several times over but pour a foundation myself) and generally do my best to live off the land as much as my more grounded wife will agree to.

So generally my life accomplishments will be my family and maybe a survivalist shack in the woods somewhere unibomber style. Who gives a shit about actual things, they come and go, but your family is your legacy.

I went through my 20s and 30s with no goals or major accomplishments till I met my girlfriend who changed my life. Now all I want to do is make her the happiest woman alive till I die.

Me and most of my co workers are the opposite, we do everything in our gastro power to not shit at work! Ive seen how they "clean" an airplane lavatory in 12000+ flight hours i can count on 1 hand the amount of times i have shit on the plane!

I want to leave my kids 1$ each. Anything above that is a bonus! My accomplishment is that i have prepared them for life and its challenges. I want to live completly off grid for a year or 2 after I retire. And i want to try and make myself a better person every day, some days are not so easy.... i am surprisingly nice for someone who cant stand 99% of people.

My life goals, been working at it constantly and things are getting there, but it is a constantly evolving task that has and will continue to span many many years.

Fix up a bunch of equipment
Improve the shops more
More organization
Build new fences where needed
Farm improvements
Leave a place and equipment to my kid/kids that will allow them to make a living for the rest of their life.

Hopefully someday down the road my wife will quit her job (maybe after amassing enough years to earn retirement) and she can help farm full time. Kinda need her insurance right now as we have a kid on the way, and her medical insurance through the school is wayyy better than what I want to pay for!

I won't be leaving mine any money unless they just up and auction everything off... But I will leave them the means to make all the money they'll ever need if they want to put the work in...

I want to start a nonprofit for men with disabled wives. I've been thinking about this for a long time and having been a full-time caregiver to my wife I can tell you sometimes you just need a blow some time off to just be a stupid fucking moron and want to provide that for people. I'd like to make a camp where things aren't politically correct in other words we shoot we drink do all kinds of dumb shit, while at the same time making sure their wives at home are being taken care of for their break.

Edit- I would also like to do a nation wide vacation where my sole purpose is to meet as many of you pirates as possible for a beer.

Setting foot and exploring the place are different. Been to Africa, but only seen the tiniest piece of it. That's all.
