So got clarific as tion from ultra4.

Control arm mounts can be changed. Uca towers and shock mounts can be removed. Lca crossmember can be strengthened but nothing on it can be removed. Any welded crossmember must remain stock. So you can make custom a arm mounts but you would have to do it with keeping the stock mounts in place.

A girl I know... well I've met her, is planning on racing her samurai on 31s. It will be interesting to see how she does. She is a good driver and competes in rock crawling. She is also already friends with the right people in the industry to get a lot of support. I'm betting she does better then steel city racing.

Haines just got 2nd place in the roxor at the Ultra4 Nationals in Sparks at the WildWest motorsports park. He broke the shit out of it in the heat race (prelim) but they fixed it and podium'd with it.

No exaggeration, the front axle on that thing moves fore and aft more inches than it does up and down. I kept waiting for the front end to stuff backward and not return. It sounds cool and it really is cool to see it leave a 200 yard long smoke trail down the main stretch.

I haven't kept up on the 4runner, are they actually going to race again or just waltz off into the sunset with a sponsored rig?

They put lexan windows in it recently. I have not seen it pulling a trailer with a RTT on it yet though

I saw that chick at Sierra Trek a couple years ago and it was on 31s then. it was out wheeling jeeps on 37s. she's a pretty good driver and Sami's do incredibly good on smaller tires. Finishing KOH is a tall order but who knows.

I competed against her and the roxor at Supercrawl in Reno last June. She definitely is not afraid to send it and she did pretty well. IIRC her spotter wasn't too great. And yes she does seem to have some pretty good connections, I'm friends with her on FB. Hope she has a good co-dawg cuz they're going to be winching their asses off. She will no doubt get a lot of attention which is always good for the sport. I would think you could at least stuff some 33s on there.

I beat em both at Supercrawl..

Dawson Allington drives the TJ that won the race. Jesse whooped all the stations wagons, of which there are many.

You might be mistaking points which Jesse did not chase. My buddies Josh and Jack with the blue WJ won the national points title and western points!

There are some guys from Colorado building another 4 gen 4skinner for this year's KOH. I still say the rack and pinion is going to be the weakest link in any 97-up Toyota IFS build. They are posting on instafamous under @ sherpamotorsports.
