No, I do. I just find it ridiculous that it takes 24+ hours of "prep work" before you can fire a F1 engine.

You need to get out and exercise more and worry less about work you will never have to do.

Another Meh race, unless you are a Hamilton fanboi I guess. Had it on live, and it was so exciting I had my eyes closed at least half the race.

Agreed. The whole weekend was really boring to me.

Guess the highlight was the track actually selling out. And good to hear they intend a major repaving project in Dec/Jan. Hopefully make it nice and smooth for MotoGP

I wish they would just leave it. Some of the best racing on TV is on tracks that are rough.

I thought I was turning on the NYC Marathon. As soon as I saw Hamilton I lost interest. "I'll be Mercedes is going to win again. No point watching. They dominate to a point of being uninteresting."

Locals do not want the hassle, and local government does not want to pay for it (or at least offer tax breaks). Not going to happen.

Would love to see the F1 circus break their junk at a place like Sebring. Bad enough bumps at COTA are dangerous for the MotoGP riders, and will cost the track the race if not addressed.

Wish F1 would consider the classic US tracks like Road America, Laguna Seca, Road Atlanta, Watkins Glen. Never going to happen, those are men's tracks and the current crop of pussies in F1 would shit in their pants even if the FIA somehow allowed it.

An outside pass on the corkscrew would be awesome.

They're closing the track all of December and first half of January (I bet it will extend) to fix bumps

The F1 guys were bitching about it in qualifying

I worked a corner for motogp last year and during track walk found a fist sized hole that had opened up right on the line at the exit of T20, onto the main straight. It was like that all over the place. Pot holes and bumps everywhere. The track is shit. They built it on top of shit that moves around. It'll never be a solid platform unfortunately.

Its a track that rewards those with big balls, in 1979 Gilles Villeneuve out qualified the field by 9 seconds in the rain , the dude was just plain fast.

Perfect storm of how they touched, then the vibrations ripped the suspension apart. So dumb

wow, that was a good race.

Sometime you wonder about the top guys, they only seem good at racing by themselves.
