No one with any sense is playing that pile of shit. I am a huge Bethesda and Fallout fan, but I cancelled my preorder after seeing what a shit show the beta was. The idiocy that Bethesda has engaged in since then is simply proof that they are no longer the company that earned their former reputation. Now they are simply another greedy corporation out to squeeze every dime from you with minimal effort instead of making a nice profit off a quality product. Fuck Bethesda and their almost 17 year old game engine.

Another 'hell no' vote here.

Spend WEEKS wandering Washington DC, Nevada and Mass, but won't ever be going to West Virginia. Bethesda have got everything wrong, from the game itself to breaking promises and flat out lying.

However, Obsidian (who made New Vegas) have a new game coming (The Outer World's) which looks to be pretty good.

I have played the "fallout" series since the original Wasteland game debuted in the late 80's.

So it's easy to say I am pretty dedicated to the franchise... and I have played them all.

Wasteland, Wasteland 2, Fallout 1,2,3,4, New Vegas, BOS Tactics. All of them.

And I refuse to buy, or play the huge steaming pile of crap that Bethesda has produced in Fallout 76. They just completely ruined a classic.

Red Dead 2 is frickin awesome. They actually did their jobs and knocked it out of the park.

I am also looking forward to that one.

Obsidian was related to Black Isle, who developed the first Fallout game. They have a better understanding of the franchise than Bethesda ever will. I wish they would give it back to them and let them fix it.

I have not played a video game in 15 years, my son got PUBG on his PS4. I watched him play it and I wanted to try it out. I am really having fun with it. So much fun that I got my other son another PS4 for his birthday so that we have two and can play duos on it. My nephew bought the game and now we play squads. It is a really challenging game that takes strategy to win. It is fricken fun.

I have been playing 76. It is ok. Seems most the people that talk shit about it, only read others reviews and base their judgment based on that.

I am only like 30 levels in or something, and get my ass handed to me by some of the creatures.

Fuck those gulpers

If you've played it, then you know that the majority of the reviews are spot on. The game looks horrible. It's obviously got a lot of suspicious things that are most likely microtransaction/lootbox related that are just waiting for Bethesda to throw the switch and implement. The game also breaks all sorts of lore surrounding the Fallout series. It also has a lot of problems with the whole "no human NPC" thing and Bethesda's dreams of players filling in and doing nothing in the game but selling junk, food and supplies or other NPC-like jobs was an impossibility from the start. Add to all the issues with how the game plays and the lies Todd Howard told at the E3 reveal, the repeated clusterfucks with the canvas bag and Nuka Dark Rum bait and switch, releasing player's info, etc, etc and the whole thing is a fucking mess much better left alone.

Fuck Bethesda...I have way way too many hours into fallout 4. Loved it, the whole online only deal fucks me on 76. Only internet avail here is super slow so no online gaming for me.

Couple guys at work have it and say it’s meh.

Been playing the hell out of red dead 2, it’s a little tedious but still fun. It will be a good time waster until it warms up outside.

Red Dead 2 is really good. Still the same shitty Rockstar controls, and it does have a lot of useless busy work that means nothing, but it is one of the best stories I have ever played and well worth the time put into it. The online is basically GTA Online with a western skin and the same grindy nonsense and useless repetitive modes. I still feel the story is worth the $60 and I ignore online component.

X2

Love the whole series, got 76 and I was just plain disappointed. I don't want to play it, doesn't have the same fallout pull, it's just shit.

RDR2 is awesome, that's a game that pulls you back to play more.

Good to know about the online. I've let my XB Live subscription lapse and wondered about the online in RDR2.

Story is amazing, epilogue was a little drawn out, but cool setting the backstory for RDR1. Wish there was more going on in the old New Austin portion of the map.

I don't care about all the reviews or hate. My wife got it for me, like most video games (she keeps track of the release schedules and grabs them). It is just boring. I tried to play it twice and just never went back.

With that said, I also just tried to play God of War (most recent with son) and it crashes every 20 minutes. Looks great though.

RDR2 was pretty sweet though. Pleasantly surprised with that.

Odyssey was fantastic. One of the better story games I've had in a while. I was really disappointed with the last one and never finished it, so it was a step up for sure.

So have you played the game? I am today. Hard to follow a story when it is only online based and no real campaign.

What I do not like, as someone who has/does play, is that you hang out long enough in an area, the enemies you just fought reappear. They changed the speed at which a player levels up recently too.

Trying to play using the tactics from fallout 3 or 4 does not work.

And I am not much of a review reader on games. So my opinion is mine. Not based off of someone else's opinion.

Yeah, I beta tested it back before it released. I agree it's hard to follow the story and it really seems more "fetch questy" than even Fallout 3 and 4 with the whole, go here, get a holotape, listen to it, do something, then go to the next tape. It's not very interesting and I found it very hard to care about the Overseer and whatever she was doing or the Responders for that matter. I also did not like the enemy respawns, or how one enemy can be low level and the next one you encounter 40' away is 3 times your level and impossible to deal with. Then there is the horrible PvP, and the usual Bethesda stuff like garbage AI and gunplay. I did like the map since I live a short drive from the Greenbriar and have seen some of the landmarks they recreated in game. I also thought the unique creatures they came up with for Fallout 76 were pretty good for the most part, though some are sort of lame, not to mention the alleged Skyrim dragon/Scorchbeast thing.

For me the worst part of it is how Bethesda has handled the complaints and problems. It's one thing to be arrogant when you are on top of the world, but when your game is seriously tanking, it's a whole other matter.

I'm seeing people claiming the game is not good, but not seeing any real specific supporting reasons for such an opinion.

I've been playing it for a while and am not complaining. It's fun and I enjoy one-shotting Deathclaws with my knuckles. Pure strength/melee build, and my stats are through the roof since I got a full set of unyielding armor and always keep my health around 25%. It's pretty fun clearing the entire club house at the golf resort by myself in just a couple of minutes. Got all the mutations I like to make me even stronger with those punches. And marsupial is awesome, jumping onto a rooftop with no trouble.

I like the star ranks on gear, too. Got quite a few pieces of 3 star gear. I think they'll release 5 star stuff in the future. Looking forward to it.

It's funny when a nuke is going and you set down the controller to do something and come back and see random bags where people dumped their legendary gear they don't want. I pick it all up and keep what I want. Then I fast travel to V76 and drop the rest there for any new players starting the game.

Good game. It does what it should. No complaints here.

I got Fallout 76 for Christmas, but haven't tried it yet. Also have RDR2 and have played it some. So far so good! I just don't have enough time to put in for video games...

God of war was really good. Strange itís crashing on a console. Red dead was awesome, rdr online was fun for a little while but ran out of stuff to do really quick

I think Iíll pick up odyssey eventually, just finished origins a few weeks ago. So much to do in that game after 60+ hours there was still a ton of stuff left to do but called it quits after finishing the campaign.

The tomb raider games are on sale on Xbox marketplace if anyone is interested in those, they are really fun games.

And if no one has played gta5 in a while they added a ton of content and cars you can finally own the interceptor from mad max but you better have a lot of money
