As long as you deposit under $10k, it will won't require paper work.
If you deposit over 10k, the bank is required to submit forms.

When I end up with any more cash than I'm comfortable carrying around all the time, it goes in my safe and gets spent as it's needed.

Don’t. Safe. Then live on cash. It’s too well tracked to deal with the PITA if you get flagged.

You sold a car, what’s the big deal. Not like you are making 100k deposits from moving kilos of coke

Counted it a few times now. Came up with $20 extra. It was $20 extra the very first time I counted it as well but I told him it was close enough and I'm not recounting it and he isn't getting the $20 back. I don't think he understood me anyways. Hah.

If you really want it kept safe, this.

But it's only 10K. I've kept a couple thousand inbetween pages in a book before. Pro tip, if it's one bill between every 5 pages or so, they dont' fall out when you shake the book by the ends of it's spine.

I'd just put a grand in various hidey holes and start paying for stuff using cash. It will get to your bank account as your pay checks go in, and like everyone has been mentioning, your craigslist fix money is already there, saving you a trip to the bank. (what my book was for).

Just go up to the ATM and start feeding it in. Might want to have someone to cover you back.

If and that's a real big IF I put any of that in the bank I'd walk in vs using the drive through. That's how I'd deposit it.

I would turn that cash into a whole bunch more on a craigslist/bookface market place tear flipping tools, cars & parts

Isn't this the write off that you hacked the electrical to 'repair' it?

He is aware he bought a write off, or did you wash the title as advised?

I wouldn't say I did any hacking on that jeep. That was my other jeep and it's been running great. Put a few thousand miles on it so far. That title is still branded rebuilt.

This jeep I just sold was pretty clean. I bought it 2 years ago for $9500, put a little into it and drove it for 2 years and sold it for over $10000. If you buy the right ones they really dont cost much at all over the long run...

Here ya go.
