So lady shows up and walks in my house...

Me: So, I think I want a 2 zone mini split system but possibly a 4 zone depending on the price.

Saleswoman: Ok its $7000 installed

Me: for what system?

Saleswoman: whatever you want, mitsubishi, Fujitsu, you know

Me: how much is parts, and how much is labor?

Saleswoman: that's the package price, the only way we sell them.

Me: alright, nevermind, thank you for taking the time to come out.

Quoting myself^^^^

So I didnt initially even consider using a company that's a couple hundred miles away but asked my old roommate if they could throw me a price, knowing that I would be fleeced less. $4100 installed with 12 year warrenty and a 200 mile drive vs $7000 from the place 6 miles away with a 10 year warrenty. My friend even told me "dont worry, we are still making plenty of money off of you".

Going to install 2 5 ton systems for my shop. Got quote of 10k for both but after looking up the cost of the units I may do it myself since ducting and that will be very simple.

$5k each doesnt sound bad if thats turnkey new systems, and not a changeout.

Looks like 2BB could be into a quad zone mini split system for about half that quote.

Find someone willing to install it at an hourly rate and buy your own shit and a year warranty on the labor, process your own warranty on the equipment. My thinking was that The savings will buy a lot of repair if needed.

I've used this seller before for an air handler; easy quick transaction. Found the best pricing on line set and heat kit from eBay.

I noticed your location was Iron City? Go Steelers!

With that out of the way there will be a an additional fuel surcharge of $6490 and a PA permit fee of $1140.

There will need need to be an adult of 18 years of age at your residence between 3:15am on 5/8/19 and January.

I am fine with the fuel surcharge and permit fee but I am not sure any of us will pass for adults.

I do not have an account with Mitsubishi. Just Lennox.

I will say their mini splits look like a rebrand with more of a mark up. The look exactly like Pioneer, aura, senville, and others. If that is what you are asking.

Have a federal EIN and an EPA number good for high pressure devices to buy 410. There a brand you were looking for?
