I went to Wheel Of Fortune and Price is Right, but don't remember them doing that. If they did, the other taping was later in the day. Wheel of Fortune, I was fortunate (no pun intended) to see 2 hosts try out to replace day time version for Pat...then Pat came out and did the real show. It was amazing to see the 2 guys trying out (one was Rolf Benershka (the kicker in NFL)) and Pat was SO much smoother...he makes it look so easy that anyone can do it, when it was clear watching the 2 auditions..it was NOT easy and clearly not EVERYONE can do it.

Pat is amazing to watch...he tosses free spin cards all over the set during the "commercial break"....you can hear them tell Pat...and we're back in 3, (He's now throwing a card), 2 (WHACK as the card NAILS The CAR DOOR) and 1...and welcome back. It was crazy to watch how much "fucking around" he did during the break and would snap back into "Pat" milliseconds before the break ended.

I don't think so.

Up to a decade or two ago they had a limit, then got rid of it for whatever reason. IIRC, That Jennings guy was the first one to make a huge run once they got rid of the limit.

Estimation and I don't really believe it given the money in blood lines. Secretariat's heart was never weighed according to wiki.

Even with the estimation being larger, it really doesn't account for the discrepancy alone. Was most likely metabolic, number of red blood cells, oxygen transfer chemistry... these are known abberations among humans like Sherpas and certain SA tribes.

Anyway the horse was just good at what it did. The right bone length, chemistry, organ size, etc.

Finally caught Jeopardy last night. That guy is a machine, and his big winning is aided by him setting a quick pace to get as many questions in as possible. No politeness like you see with other contestants. How many seconds are lost by the annoying 'please' a lot of them say, "Shakspearean Anoyances for 1200 Alex, please" vs "shakespeare for 12" thats potentially a couple missing thousand dollars in a round if it is down to the wire.

I liked his answer for gaining trivia knowledge: Childrens Library. Short and conciese facts.

Alex.

No limit. Jennings won 74 times. Won 2.5 mil IIRC...only difference is he was only winning 30-35k a game. This dude is having 30-35k after the first round consistently.

What's he up to now? I only catch it when I am at work. He has a pretty good strategy with going for the big values first and playing agressive during the first round. It will be interesting to see when the run ends, if it's by his own mistake or someone best him in knowledge and clicker speed

He's over 1.27 mil I believe. The guy is just good at what he does, when the game starts he's ON. I'm looking forward to seeing him in the Tournament when it comes around.

He only won by $18 last night. 2nd place finished with $59,900 which was most ever by a loser. Tonight he was back on track winning $96,000. It was such a runaway that one contestant answered final Jeopardy with, “congratulations James” as her answer.

After two weeks off for teachers tournament...James is still going. Just short of 2 million after 26 episodes or 13 hours of “work” and he almost lost tonight

It was exciting...believe it or not and came down to final Jeopardy.

Was that the one where Alex was asking him if he thought he'd still be allowed to gamble in Vegas?

He is out. $60k short of Ken Jennings 2.5 million. Didn’t hit the daily doubles like he was accustomed to. Would have lost by $1 if he wagered it all at the end.

It was fun and I am sure therapeutic for Alex during his fight.

SPOILER: I skimmed the above post but I’m pretty sure it said something about the guy liking black dicks :Blackflipoff2:

I’m not a Jeopardy champion, but if I didn’t want to find out about what happened on Jeopardy I probably wouldn’t click on a thread dedicated to it. So fuck off with your whining.

Same here, was hoping to see him set a new record. he didn't seem to be on his game. Looked like Alex was kinda choked up at the end, could be his illness tho.
