Plastic Bag Sealer

I would like to make some oversize plastic bags out of something like 4 or 6 mil plastic rolled sheeting. I had hoped I could find something hand held that had rollers that I could just run down the plastic to seal it but I am having no luck. I don't know if my search skills suck or what I want is just not made. I don't mind spending 100 bucks for this sealer or even 200 but after that it probably isn't worth it for my use. The biggest bag I would make would probably be something like 6ft long by 5ft wide. Ideally I would like to buy zip locks that would seal one end and make them reuseable.

Does anyone know anything about such an elusive tool?

I used to have a handheld plastic bag sealer.

it was two carbon heating elements on a stapler looking hinge. Squeeze it together and run it down a plastic bag and it seamed it for you.

so they do exist. Used it to reseal mylar bags for RMA returns. I think it was origninally made for resealing plastic kitchen pachaking, so maybe check the kitchen utensils places.

The local homebrew store has a sealer for bags of grain, looks like an old guillotine paper slicer, only with heat

How many big bags do you need? I have a semi regular source for ziplock bags in that size range.

Aliexpress about $300 and another $150 to get it here. PVC banner welder is the search term to get something on with rollers that will do thick plastic sheeting.

Would something like this work? Look up roller sealer, most of the handheld ones only seem to be good up to 6mil thickness

I've used one similar to this that worked just fine and looking around they're fairly inexpensive.
