nitrogen cylinders

I came across about 100 of these nitrogen cylinders from the army from the 80s.
They look like standard co2/nitrogen cylinders but the necks arent threaded and they wont fit into my little co2 tire inflator (necks diameter is too large) to test if they still have pressure.
Does anyone know their use?
Does anyone want these? I have about 100 and hate to toss them if someone can use them.

From the Googleweb;

These cylinders look like the little CO2 cylinders used in BB guns. A reader, Christoph Loew, reports:

"The cylinders of nitrogen gas are, as far as I know, used for cooling the thermal imaging system of certain man-portable anti-tank missiles, I did some maintenance work on thermal imagers during my time with the German army and was told that the MILAN system used these.

Those may have been used in the thermal sight for a Dragon (M47 med anti-tank weapon). I was trained (familiarized) with the Dragon, but never touched the night sight

The TOW 1 used a larger nitrogen bottle for cooling the thermal sight. The TOW 2 had it's own little fridge unit
