Help find this AZ Pitty a forever home

Just want to get some more exposure here for this dog. All the "that dog will snap and rip your face off in your sleep" crowd can eat a dick because I dont want to hear it. Dog just needs a home.

Sent it to a buddy that loves bullies. He is from Washington but in vegas currently. Maybe a road trip if we get lucky.

The Blue nose has been adopted. The red/white guy is the one the clock is ticking on. Thanks for spreading the word.

Bump. Tick tock...the clock is ticking for the pooch. According to linked thread he is going to a local shelter tomorrow. If somebody is serious about the pup im sure the current foster dad will hold on a little while longer.

Bump.

Phoenix is still available!

Copied from original ad:
Yes...Phx is good around all dogs. he was living with 2 F and one dominate male and did fine.*Only scrap he had was my fault as I left a bone*on the ground and left the room. I do not*allow the dogs to play rough though. I stop them if I think they are rough housing too much*and a happy medium has been found by all.

He is extremely shy and it will take time for him to warm up to you for sure. Just had the grandkids here for two weeks and it kind of freaked him out a*bit. He was starting to let everybody pet him by the time the left. He will warm up to your pup a lot faster than a human.

He does patrol the yard for sure. He is kennel trained when he comes in the house and he prefers his little cubby*hole anyhow.

You will need patience and time with him. He isn't aggressive but something about my one neighbor he really dislikes.*When his garage door goes up Phx runs back and forth and barks. Crazy as the neighbor has been in the back yard and petted him in the past. I don't trust Phx around him but that is the only person. Phx shys away from people.

He does like walks but not outside of our local neighborhood. Taking him down into Cave Creek to walk around and he hated it and couldn't wait to get home.

He is a very loving pup.

If you want to meet him be prepared for him to shy away from you.

Call me if you want to check him out 714-514-3721. We are in Cave Creek, AZ

.

I would love to have that dog, but my pup can be a challenge around other dogs.

You should reach out to some pit bull rescues. The pup needs some training/socialization and be placed with someone who knows what thereíre getting into, or be put down. You donít want some random family not familiar with the breed to take him on.

Totally agree. The guy who has him now is very familiar with the breed and fosters many dogs from the local rescues. At one time this pup lived with 4 other dogs and gets along just fine. Believe me, he(current foster dad) knows the routine and this is why he laid out the minor issues hes seen with the pup.

I go out in the world avoiding trouble.

Others go out looking for it.

Go out looking for it, you're liable to find it.
