Got a turkey with the zero turn , pretty sure it was sick, saw it the day before close to the same area, didnt run off with the others.

Dont forget to extract them sometimes they get stuck in / behind the grill, last one i remembered only after i smelled it, bunch of maggots fell out.

My FJ Cruiser was a chick magnet. I hit more birds than I care to remember, and twice had a bird fly into it while it was parked.

All I got.

Maybe one, but I think it missed. For the amount I drive I'm surprised I don't hit more.

The last two weeks seem to have been suicide season for doves. I have hit 3 and dodged countless others. They are in the side of the road and just don’t move.

Two in the last month, a stupid grouse that just stood there until the last second. I swerved but the trailer duals turned min into a cloud of feathers.

The other was a smallish owl, didn't see it coming. Bam WTF and then I see him laying on the hood up against the windshield trying to make me feel guilty by staring at me with those big eyes, hit the wipers and adios motherfucker.

Have had a robin flying into/pecking at our bedroom windows every day for 4 days straight now. I've also hit a bird with my headlight in the last week and I NEVER hit animals. I don't swerve around them (except non snapping turtles), I just somehow don't have animals fly/run into my vehicles while driving. I have a GF in HS hit 3 small woodland creatures in one week, I never ran over an animal until well into my 20's. No idea

That reminds me. I was watching a movie on Saturday and one flew into the livingroom screen. I heard it hit and looked just in time to see all the little downy feathers falling slowly into the bushes.

Weirdest thing happened. Saw a bird just walk into the road and stand in the rut of the road and just wait. Like it knew, and was just wanting to get run over. It was creepy.

The little neighbor girl's wiener dog ran under my rear tire last week. Absolutely nothing I could do. Damn thing had stopped moving by the time I got out of the truck and back to it. Felt like shit.

None. Only hit three things ever, all birds. One was a quail that hit the mirror of my work truck. The others were a swallow and a quail, both taken out by the boat I was towing at the time. Saw the quail, never saw the swallow until we stopped and it was laying in the boat. The quail boat collision was this year a couple months ago.

The girlfriend tagged a quail with the front axle of her F-350 the week before I hit my quail, first birds we had each hit in years. Last week she was going to work and saw a deer on the side of the road. Car heading at her didnt see it and smacked it at 40+. Deer wandered dazed and fucked up and smacked right into the front of her Jeeps bumper, stumbled around the side, hit her bumper again, then crawled off the road and died. I guess it counts.

I've hit couple of crows with my pickup, but none with my car. It seems that the look-out crow never learned to yell TRUCK.

None. Always seems like they're going to to hit but then they catch the draft and glide right past. All I've ever hit are a couple of possums.

I had that happen with a crow that had a broken wing. I saw it standing on the shoulder and then walked out in front of my truck as I got too close to stop. Suicidal crow I guess.

For some reason one of my trucks seems to be a bird magnet. I've hit more birds with that truck than I can put a number on. Even had one hit the antenna and then spiral into my windshield. I have not hit a bird with any of my other vehicles. Now prairie dogs, those fuckers seem to try and run across the road as you drive by.
