Well potentially there are some nice neighborhoods in Fresno and Bakersfield, but I wouldn't want to live there either. I did my 22 years in the Sacramento/San Joaquin valley.

If he did murder his wife then he doesn’t deserve anything. He was a moderator on pirate who knew a bunch of people here, yes, but his decision to do what he did supersedes any respect he earned from being on the board years ago. I’m sorry but he’s no real man, real men don’t do things like this. I’m sad for the people who knew and liked him and for his wife and her family but zero fucks given for him.

Would tend to agree, but did he repent? Still tough to talk about him like he didn't shoot his wife.

Probably is what he deserves. It's neither disrespectful nor unduly vaunting.

Not trying to defend or condone what happened...But if you have or have seen what happens to people and what they become during a a divorce, you may not be wo quick to judge. People can become vindictive and may push a sane person to do things that may not seem sane.

I’ve been though a nasty divorce without killing anyone. She very likely was pushing his buttons but he pulled the trigger. Repeatedly. Fuck him.

My best friend finalized his last week....I'm surprised from what I saw her do that he did not bury her. Maybe you ex was not that petty and vindictive.

Yes. He had I think about 3 chris craft's. He would always post pics of them at lake tahoe. I have only seen him driving down highway 5, but never met him.

All I'm trying to convey is, murder-suicide is serious shit and deals on a bicycle is not. There are better threads for deals on wheels than this one. No, I don't condone murder, nor do i condone suicide, or divorce for that matter since they always suck royal. Hey, wish I could get a $1,000 bike on the cheap.

One of those things is not like the others.

Agree with you completely. It's the class some don't have to keep it real. Moderator or not, we're all human and this was a human tragedy. If a fellow wheeler while on a camping trip admitted that he had sex with a minor by posting it here stipulating "hey my transgression is this, my penis accidentally fell into the mouth of a 17 yr old girl and now I don't know how to process it... I know it was wrong" well by all means, he deserves everything we throw at him.

Except "her dad owns a liquor store? Wonder if I could get a deal on some kegs for my college graduation party next weekend." - classless approach is classless.

But really, maybe I'm sensitive to suicide because I've never known anyone who took their own life before until last July when one of my long time customers threw a piece of lead through his own head and I was invited to be someone to help inventory his equipment after the fact. I completed it, and it wasn't easy. But no one person involved asked if they could score "a nice price" as per the allocation of his assets.

Its a thread on the internet, not the funeral in front of their family, or in court at their divorce trial. Relax.

Much worse has been said or joked about here.

eta: also, that bike I was talking about is like 9k fully optioned... so if someone had one for 1k I'd buy it right now.

That’s fair and I don’t disagree that it seemed like an awkward sidebar in an otherwise tragic discussion.

wow that is crazy.

sad for the families. while it might be entertaining to joke about killing your spouse during/after/before divorce, it just isn't worth it. kill yourself first and take some time to think it over.

or don't kill yourself either

I'm sorry I have to agree with the person you quoted. Look, I get it, he was a PBBer and folks here knew him. I can respect peoples feelings on that.

However, he murdered a person, that pretty much negates any good will or 'good' he could have been. People here are talking about him like he was some good friend and he deserves his peace, but ignoring the whole "murdered someone" thing.

He could have taken himself out, without taking someone with him, and I would agree 100% he would have deserved all the respect and peace for that...but he didn't, he murdered someone first.

I agree that the murder negates all else.
