I'm old and want some leather boots that are not hipster

I can do 9 miles on concrete a day I have been running a Merrel Moab vented for that. I also like to hike some for an old fat guy ( 3 miles an hour). My feet sweat in summer but don't care for wet feet in winter.

These may be mostly for weekends but I want it to be the last set of boots I buy so looking for the best. I know there are a lot of boot threads on here but they go from one extreme to the other .

I just got a set of these to replace my old bellville 800s.

After breaking them in they are like couches for your feet.

They are very well insulated, so the hot weather version may be more your flavor.

I'm a big fan of Thorogood boots. USA made and every pair I've owned are very comfortable.

Take a look at whites hiker, the USA made danners are still good, but whites are rebuildable.

I just clicked on the link. It appears to take you to the home page.

Anywho the boot model I wear is the 800ST. Best thing about them is you can run in them.

When I clicked the first time it showed the home page. The second time showed the 800ST. That's why I figured you edited.

Same here. First time, I had to select the "site" (CC vs. .gov billing) so I'm guessing the magic of cookies made the difference.

If you donít mind actual hiking boots (and the weight), LL Beanís Cresta Hikers have worked for me. Winter in Northern MI and summers in the Australian outback.

First set lasted several years of near constant use, current set is about nine years old (only gets used on weekends mostly) and is starting to show their age and I have a new pair sitting in a closet.

I have a pair of Lowa's. They took a bit to break in, but after that they're really comfortable.
