I always said that I hoped if the shit wouldn't stick, that eventually it would pile up high enough to drown him.

Trudeau never wanted to build a pipeline. He bought it with other people's money so he could kill it. Which is sound business policy if you're a piece of shit politician who hates Canada.

What's so scary about pipelines? I don't get what all the fear is about. Quebecers are dead set against them. Seems safer than moving oil by trains. You'd think the Lac Megantic disaster would have made them realize that.

They'd rather their oil come from Saudi Arabia I guess.

They're against it because they are against anything that is good for the rest of Canada. They are all Bloc at the end of the day, and as they said they will not work with any other party, rather they will only support what is good for Quebec. Supporting it would be working with other parties.

I don't see why Quebec would be against them, it means more Alberta money for them.

They're against anything that is good for the rest of Canada but they'll keep taking billions in transfer payments as long as there's money to take.

But what I meant was why is any province against pipelines? Quebec isn't the only one. BC doesn't want any going through to the west coast.

Incorrect. The majority of BC is in favour of it. A vocal part is not, at least not until they get the deal they want. The current abomination of an unelected BC government is also not in favour of it, like I said, vocal minority.

I've always wondered why running a pipeline from northern Alberta to Churchill doesn't get more traction. Logistics in shipping through the arctic? Afraid the polar bears won't be white anymore?

If Vancouver and victoria ever realize that kayaks, electric cars, and keen sandals are made of petroleum products, yes.

The divide is going to get bigger... special interest and the people wanting hand outs vs the rest of us that want to just be left alone and not taxed to death.

So can we work a trade? We send Canada the general population of Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, LA, NYC. And the freedom lover and tax haters come south. Both get more like minded people. ???
