Not that yellow star really matters any more. It made sense when lance still ran the site and it helped cover costs by having the community support the community they would be making money from, but with vertical scope taking over and plastering it with ads and completely ignoring the member base it has become pointless. Unless you want to police it for nostalgia sakes and to ensure vertical scope can milk every penny from this site, a little free advertising in a sea of paid advertising is not making an issue. Not like yellow or red star membership is going towards its intended purpose any more, much like blue stars are no longer either.

I have no dog in this fight but the stuff at Walmart isn't even close to the same level of quality. Walmart's business model is not built around selling quality products that last.

Except it still keeps the place from being overrun with spam. I can see an established member getting a pass but we don't need all sorts of ad posts popping up from people who are not part of- or add to- the community.

Is it the hand pockets that make it a jacket? Can it be worn like a shirt?

Depends on the size of the Sherpa but usually 1 - 1.5 if you slice them thin enough.

How would it prevent spam? Anyone can make an account and post whatever site link. Wouldn’t have to even sell anything at the link. I think the yellow star days as well as red stars are long over.

Take a glance at the post history. It's virtually all spam.
