Yes, but I kind of don't care because the more of these things they sell the more that'll be around when they are at build-a-beater prices.

I want a family rig and something that can haul a small 3500-4000lb travel trailer. Buying a base model jlt and slapping some superduty axles under it sure is tempting

JKU would not fill that bill? It would be a much cheaper buy in considering your end goal.

Exactly my thoughts. Just continuing what the JK started.

yeah i honestly don't see much difference between the JK and the JL.

the JK seems to stand out more than the LJ/CJ/BJ/ZJ/MLK models that came before it. after the next few years, it will just become JK/JL/JLBTQ+

drink bleach troll

Maybe but I don't think they will replace the Honda and ricer fanboy clubs. Fabfour will probably still be making bank for a few more years.

I do like the new JLT(other than the tail lights), it's on a future buy list.

Love my JL. That said, it's also 16 years newer than my next newest vehicle.

Bolting parts on a brand new rig is definitely a different experience than working on my other junk. Fuck the prices of some of the parts though.

The Gladiator's designation is just "JT".

As for why everyone likes them, I can't say but I know I like it. The main reason I am interested in the JT is because it is the only pickup with a manual transmission FCA makes anymore. The "Jeep" features of it are pretty nice as well, though I can't say it justifies the price. Still, I would rather have a JT than a Tacoma or whatever that nonsense GM and Furd are attempting to make.

I guess that is better than "Javacado", lettuce and tomato.

Frank, I'm sure you remember seeing all the modified JL's and Gladiators at Off Road Expo.
