we had chickens when i was a kid and the neighbor had some expencive bird dogs they came across the field and dug under the fence and killed all of our chickens then trotted back home my brother and i shot the basterds in their front yard and on their front porch the guy called the cops who showed up at our house looked things over and shook our hands and said nice shoots and drove away.

My ford has the tank tucked up nice and high next to the fuel tank. That GM tank isn’t but ~8” off the ground in some models.

So a little update;

Just happened to be out in the yard yesterday evening as the neighbor drove down the lane, stopped and gave me money and apologized again. I really wasn’t expecting him to come up with the money to be honest. He said he has the dogs chained up, I said good, they need to be cause they’re all out of strikes down here.
