Been working around the house and on my truck all day. Took some time off work and have to get back on monday. Drinking some beer and thinking about going back out to clean up my tools and lock up the shop before it gets too dark. Everyone is sick so thats fun

Worked on my kid's Willys with him for a few hours, it is still not running...

Then I had to knock out an article for Modernjeeper by 5 so it can publish tomorrow... finished at 5:20.

Gunna pour a glass of Jack and watch the news.

Pey blew out the rear driveshaft last month driving it to school. He managed to pull it out then get to school in front wheel drive.

When he got it home and parked it in the garage, he went inside to do his homework, and then started to smell propane....the driveshaft must have nicked the propane line, and 8 gallons spewed out in my garage. It was fine when he was at school and driving it home, it just decided to explode later on.

So today he bought a new propane line with his own $$ and he put it in himself while I worked on the driveline. Not many 17 year old boys today can do that...

In. Feel like shit. Sore throat and all that. Probably has something to do with staying up all night after binging on coffee.

I went and saw an old ex-girlfriend earlier, since I randomly ran into her before Christmas and we both agreed to catch up. I think she's living in a lesbian communal relationship thing now. So maybe I've got Crispin's talents. Was still nice to chat though.

Went out running errands early today. I had every intention of putting a Mossberg 590 in ten day lock-up (code for stupid “cooling off period”). Wanted to get the latest “hoop” out of the way (mandatory firearm safety test) to purchase the new boom stick. Couldn’t take test because the manager was out....

Whatever... We’re going to go donate blood, then stop by a gun shop I haven’t been too in a long time tomorrow

I will have a bayonet equipped 12ga in 2020
