Has this crap ever happened to anyone else?!
You got the last two.
Bookmark it and check it daily.

If you watch a number of items for a while you'll see a bit of a pattern emerge, along with the price fluctuation as stock goes down and the price drop when they are down to the last one or two, and again the price jump when they've restocked. Be patient and check regularily. Know what you are willing to pay and then jump on it.

Alex.

this seems to be the case.

said only two left on the brake kit I ordered, fulfilled by amazon.

they must figure the warehouse space is worth more than holding onto two items?

no idea.
but I got lucky today and got $300 worth of brake shit for $81.

Camel camel camel is awesome for price checking.

Has itís flaws though, sometimes items are too new and it doesnít work.

Prices fluctuate all the time. I have some stuff on subscription through them that will bounce 10-15 bucks month to month for the same item.

Good deal!

No doubt amazon puts a lot of emphasis on number of items moved and how quickly they can move them off that shelf that they'll do the severe price drops they do sometimes. Which is good for those of us who are patient and wait for a palatable price to come up.

Alex.

I posted that deal on a BMW board AFTER I got my shipping notification, as soon as the last one was gone the price went to $290.

well fuck.

Amazon delivered a big box emblazoned with the power stop logo today.
unfortunately it was a box full of toyota parts.

I do not own a toyota.
Amazon wanted to return it because they won't be getting a replacement in stock until march. I obviously didn't want to return it and buy elsewhere because I got it for 1/3 the price.

Enter powerstop directly.
Very apologetic, asked me to send photos of everything in the box to them and my mailing address.
Will send out correct BMW parts directly and a shipping label for the wrong box.

pretty stand up on power stops part.

edit:
well fuck fuck
now powerstop wants me to contact amazon.

edit edit:
well, replacement order issued and pickup tag sent. but amazon won't have it back in stock until february.
I guess it's a good thing I didn't NEED brakes.

well it appears amazon just had power stop drop ship me brakes.

shipped monday.
supposedly on a truck for delivery right now.

hopefully it's actually a box full of BMW parts this time.

and I checked Honey, and this kit had been $80 for the last 120 days before I bought them. Now it's $268, not prime, 6-10 days for delivery.

the other guy that ordered also got a box full of toyota parts.

so strange.

Happens all the time to me as well.

I just bought a 17,500lbs Smitty built winch for $500. Price jumped several hundred dollars right after I made my purchase. Free shipping to boot.

I purchased about a dozen Royal products cat 50 tool holders for under $20 each, the price on each jumped at least $100 on each holder after I made my purchase. And a Royal products mt6 live center for $214 free shipping as well. The live center is $$$ if you pay actual retail.
