"Late last year it was decided to convert the vehicle into a no expense spared custom 4X4 with all the right details and at the same time address any and all maintenance items necessary. Close to $20k was spent on this project."

Wow, $20k = "no expense spared custom". Alrightythen
It appears they think their bolt on experience is worth serious money.

I probably have over 30k in parts in my rig and thousands of hours of fabrication, and its probably worth 8-10 on a good day. It is by no means a "no expense spared custom"

No expense spared apparently must mean they found the most expensive installed price for the budget build parts.

Trailmaster 4.5" lift, Smitty XRC winch and rustys sliders is pretty much the absolute cheapest stuff you can find on the market... Pretty much every possible expence was spared on parts...

The labor rate would probably have been closer to $200/hr

When you list the floor mats as part of your "conversion-build",you can't push the envelope much further.

That's a "someone forgot to put in the plug" picture

I saw that happen a few times when I lived at the coast, usually about 10 minutes after launch while tied up to the dock

Seems typical. You don't wind up doing police tows in MA without being a morally bankrupt scumbag.

This kind of "milk the system and screw everyone else" attitude it typical of people in and associated with state government. I say that as someone who has his fair share of connections to state government.

Is that last line item a storage fee? 99 days at 150/day?

seems legit.
