80's Hair Band Party -- like a Rockstar -- help!

So...I was getting ready to post this up a day or so ago, and Kurt stole my thunder...

We're planning an 80's Hair Band party for New Year's this winter. I was a little too young to be into it at the time (graduated HS in '93)

BASIC STUFF

1. You MUST be in 80's hair band/groupie attire
2. You must rat your hair/wig
3. You must show more skin than is socially acceptable

DECORATIONS

Leather
More Leather
Chains/metal
Harley
Maybe a Camaro?

FOOD
  1. Heroin
  2. Cocaine
  3. Alcohol
  1. OK, maybe just alcohol in the mind-altering substances section.
  2. Beer
  3. More Beer
  4. Whiskey
  5. What would be good 80's food--did Rock stars ever eat? They were awful damn skinny!!!

Party Games, etc.
  1. Snorting pixie sticks?
  2. Best 80's hairless lead singer chest
  3. Best bangs on a groupie
  4. Best leather pants

Music Playlist
  1. Motley Crue
  2. Poison
  3. Led Zeppelin
  4. Guns -n- Roses
  5. Metallica
  6. Def Leppard

Led Zeppelin isn't a 80's hair band. You'll need some of the following..

Ratt
Britney Fox (Girls School, long way to love)
Firehouse
Skid Row
Warrant
Billy Idol
Def Leppard
Wasp
Metallica
Reo Speedwagon, not really a hairband in my opinion, but had some great songs in the 80's.
Kix
Van Halen
Quiet Riot
Twisted Sister
Poison
Styx
The Miami Vice Soundtrac (not hair, but huge back then)
Bon Jovi

You can even throw in some Tone Loc or whatever the hel his name was for grins... The 80's will never die!

Sorry Priest, Must have been typing at the same time! Looks like I missed a few! Speaking of the Priest....a little Judas Priest never hurts either, Turbo, Defenders of the Faith, Ram It Down, all released mid 80's!

Are you serious?

I graduated in '93, and listened to a lot of hair bands

Sure, I was in 7th or 8th grade, but most of my friends had older brothers

Thanks guys!!!

I was the older brother...listened to a lot of my Dad's Willie, Waylon, and Johnny Cash cassettes!!!

Then I got into hair bands (and metal) in College....and then back into classic country.

Fuckin' "buttrockers".

I guess you could use some:

Trixster
Slaughter
Oh Fuck! I almost forgot "Winger".
I dunno' any other bands that put lipstick on their buttholes before they hit the stage?

I used to have some long ass hair and fat ,drunk rocker skanks would say "Ahhhh... you look like Sebastian Bach" and I would say " I don't look like that pussy! Kick rocks you fat skank." Then I would go back to the bar, drink for a few more hours and wake up next to one of them the next morning. I cut my hair off and I haven't had a drink in almost 12 years.

Fuckin' Slayer, bitches!

Disappointing that both Extreme and Y&T were left off of those lists.

And;
Doro Pesch (Warlock)
Lynch Mob
Lita Ford
Savatage
Bang Tango
Vinnie Vincent Invasion
Ywngwie Malmsteen
Bullet Boys
Tora Tora

Fawkin' 80's, it's all still a blur of years slammed together...

Don't really think I'd include Meta-licka & Judas Priest as hair bands.

If yer gonna have them, tho, ya gotta toss in some Motorhead...

Ahhh...yes... Lita Ford...[fapfapfap]

If we were to play "What does not belong here", I'm choosing Fates Warning . There's nothing "hair" about the band

See if you can get some Steel Panther for laughs. Once people get good and buzzed, they'll be loving it. I fuckin' crack up, sober

YouTube - Steel Panther "Death to All But Metal - UNCENSORED"

Death to all butt metal.
....no, it's death to all but metal.
