Spent the weekend on our annual backpacking trip looking for alpine blacktail deer. All we saw were elk and bears, the one bear worthy of pursuit got his potential bacon saved by darkness and fog. Still a damn good way to spend 4 days.

Deer stand the other day... I'm NOT a photographer. Just plain old Samsung phone and no tricks.

Are you shooting JPEG, or is that just how it reads the EXIF when you upload? Always enjoy your bird pics BTW.

From a wedding back in Oct. Could never make out what the green light was, it was only there for two exposures (20 sec no less) and then was gone.

I shoot raw but export to jpeg. Lightroom edits the exif upon export.
Thank you.

Possible satellite, but at a 20 second exposure, it would've been a blur. It could have been one in geosynchronous orbit, but it was there for only 2 shots, of which this is the only good one.

^^ worth noting, that horizon line is really that flat, I didn't put that there. I straightened the photos in post, yes, but beyond a simple rotate from not holding the camera square, that's what exists. Pretty awesome IMO.
