Maybe Vapor Lock?

Here it goes- 345 engine- after about 20 minutes it starts to stumble like it's gas starved- this is all at idle- the idle RPM's go down to slightly under 500 (after being at around 600 and running smooth) and the engine bay is REALLY hot- like the fenders are really warm- the temp is about 200-210 degrees and I have to put my foot on the gas to keep it running- it has been about 12 years since I have changed the thermostat and the upper rad hose seems spongy and REALLY hot- the fuel line runs next to the thermostat housing btw- any ideas or add info needed?

Sounds like it warms up and then starts running rough. I had a bad egr valve . I plugged the vac line and the issue went away.

I would test and look at all the temp vacuum sensors.

Or it could be your carb just needs to be adjust to 600 when the engine is warm?
