SD 220 automatic transmission options

Iíve got a 1961 metro mite that my wife uses regularly for her business. She has her employees (read millennial girls) drive the truck to and from events most every weekend. The trouble is , no one Knows how to drive a stick and if they do the truck tops out at about 45mph. Itís got the sd 220 inline six that purrs like a kitten but doesnít care too much for the revs.

Iím kicking around putting an Od auto in this thing or at the very least a four speed auto. Iíve already got an explorer axle to bump up the axle ratio. Even if I did teach them to drive a Manual Iím thinking first is going to be too tall for any kind of hill with higher axle gears.

Iíve looked on binder and not found much, some suggest putting in a international manual with an od but they seem rare as hens teeth. I was hoping the all knowing pirate might be some help.

Edit ( no pics of millennial employees)

Buy a transit van before the metro sideswipes a lightpole.

Not sure about OD, but I believe there was a Borg Warner auto available OEM.
Some company made an SV to 700r4 bellhousing, but I don't think that has the same pattern as the bd, maybe someone knows better than I. I have a sd220 and a 345 but they are in vehicles, I can measure as best I can if you need.
I don't pay nothing for anything.
