That was the first scout I thought of when this kid said he was hacking up a Commanche.

Bryan said he didn't even know what it was till it was too late to turn back.

TTB is short for Twin Traction Beam a form if IFS popular for desert racing but not great for crawling at all.

This really isn't a buildup

But, since you have your driveshaft and tires... wheel it already

I guess you haven't done any research on it then. I have at least a grand in mine so far and that's just the engine, drivetrain, and axles.

Sounds like you don't have a plan, you just want to throw parts at it and hope it works.

I have $9,000 into this and I did all the work myself. So you have a long ways to go. But, since your daddys girl, I'm sure he'll help you out.

Its a 1970 SR-2. Its a customer rig. Pretty much a full on re-build. So far its received new springs, shocks, hardware, new drive shafts, trans rebuilt, new motor, brakes, and fixing a lot of little shit. It will be a sweet ride when its done. Which wil be soon. That pic was before I started on it. Notice my junk is in the rain, customers get the nice dry carport.

The drum brakes are marginal with stock size tires. With the 33's on there, you are not going to have a good time

Forget the leather seats and do a disc brake conversion ((writeup here) and you'll be much better off.

Or, don't do it and let us all know how it stopped after your first stream crossing
