The Hotrod is mostly done, here are the pictures. Thanks to all that helped, I still have the spare engine to dick with, along with the blower. Right now I am just enjoying tooling around in the 35.

Got to get some expert help to load vids but here are some pictures from today. Had a blast running the Hotrod on the dyno and got the tune dialed in perfect. Numbers were 250 torque and 190 horse power @ the rear wheels. Horse power at the crank would be about 250, Harvester heads just will not flow enough air to support much more. She fell off at 5000 rpm and valves started to float at 5300 rpm. Timing was optimum at 33.5 degrees and we go the fuel air spot on.

Gary the dyno guy told me to just cob the throttle for the dyno runs but the truck would break loose on the rollers so I had to feather into full throttle runs. Had a blast and got the carb and timing set up just right for this motor.

So not too bad for an old dump truck engine, eh?

DesktopDyno suggested ~400lbs-ft and ~300hp at the crank.

The 936-16 springs the machine shop talked me into robbed that engine of 1000rpm of ceiling.. but as you found, it didn't make a ton of power between 5200 and 6200 - but it sure helped when drag racing.
